Make a Wish
I kept things super simple with this card, but may have gotten a little carried away with the Metallic Gems. You can never have too much bling, right?
I used the stamps from the August 2024 Time for Cake Paper Pumpkin. I love these candles and the sparkly tops!
Short and sweet today! I hope you all have a great weekend and have some stamping time mixed in with all of your other plans.
Happy Stamping!

Life is Sweet
It's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop! Hop along and see what everyone has to share with you!
I'm still catching up after being on vacation, so I turned to the June 2024 Life is Sweet Paper Pumpkin kit and it did not disappoint. These alternatives were so much fun to create!
With the exception of the Shy Shamrock Thanks, all products were from the kit. I just used all of the products a bit differently than the kit samples. Which are you favorite?
Keep on hopping to see what my friend Charlet has created!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Golden Birthday Growth

Woo-hoo! We made it to Friday AND an all new TGIF Challenges Product Challenge!
I'll be honest...Vellum is one of the papers that I use least, but I have no idea why. I am always reminded how awesome it is whenever I do use it.
Today I used it as a fun accent overlay for a Paper Pumpkin alternative project.
I cut down one of the card fronts from this months Ten Years of Growth Paper Pumpkin kit and adhered it to a Polished Pink card base. I tucked one of the laser cut plant leaves behind the vellum circle, which I embossed with one of the Online Exclusive Basics 3D embossing folder.
I cut down the fun patterned strip from the kit, laying that on top of the vellum before arranging the rest of the plants in the adorable little pot. I was going to stamp the Happy sentiment with the included stamp set, but the gold laser cut Happy was too good to pass up. A cute little strip for a Polished Pink Birthday was stamped and a few Gold Pastel Sequins finished the card off.
Thank you Paper Pumpkin for coming to my rescue for a last minute addition to this weeks TGIF Challenges Product Challenge!

Bone Appetit Mr. Skeleton
Hello stampin' friends and happy Thursday! It's a no school day for my kiddos, which means I have a little bit of extra crafty time this morning and got to play along with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!

Our crazy weather has me feeling like we've skipped over fall and moved right on to winter, but I'm not going to let some crazy snow (Yes, SNOW at the beginning of October!) steal away some fun Halloween creations. I had a few pieces left over from the September Bone Appetit Paper Pumpkin kit and used them for a festive Halloween card!
I love the fun skeleton stamps that were included with this kit. They are such happy little guys! And all of the fun bits and pieces for the tags made for great embellishments for this card!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, September 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit
Ink ~ Memento, Gorgeous Grape
Stamp Set ~ September 2019 Bone Appetit Paper Pumpkin
Other Supplies ~ Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Silver Metallic Thread
My kiddos may have the day off, but I still have to work. There are very few days that they have off that I have to work, which they love to give me a hard time about! I just keep telling them their time will come when THEY have to go to work and I don't...HAHAHA!
Have a terrific Thursday!

Sentimental Rose Mother's Day ~ HSSSC314
Mother's Day is quickly approaching and I'm still working on a couple of cards for some special mom's in my life.
This weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments sketch and this months Paper Pumpkin kit were the perfect inspiration for a beautiful Mother's Day card!

I used a few pieces from the Sentiment Rose Paper Pumpkin kit, as well as the beautiful rose image and the fun embellishments. I added a bit of texture with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.
To add a bit more dimension, I cut a few sections of the rose and layered it...I love how it turned out!

I used Grey Granite for my card base, but all of the other supplies were from the April 2019 Sentimental Rose Paper Pumpkin Kit. It's always fun to create some alternative projects from these kits!
I still have a couple more Mother's Day cards to make, so be on the lookout for more this week!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

#tgifc206 Color Challenge
Happy Friday stampers! It's been a bit since I've blogged, but I've had good reason. I've been at the Oregon Coast enjoying Spring Break! This was our time to reset before the full on craziness of baseball season takes over our lives for the next few months.
I did bring a couple craft projects to work on while I was gone, including this weeks TGIF Challenges Color Challenge. These colors are so fun and bright!
Paper Pumpkin kits are always easy to take along on trips! March 2019 Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit did not disappoint! With a few extra scraps of paper, this weeks color challenge ink pads, a punch and some embellishments, I created this cheerful birthday card that would be great for anyone!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Granny Apple Green
Ink ~ Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay
Stamp Set ~ March 2019 Poppin' Birthday Paper Pumpkin Kit
Other Supplies ~ Balloon Bouquet Punch, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Iridescent Sequins
I think I could spend another couple weeks here at the beach. It has been so nice to not have an agenda, crazy schedules, school or work. The good news is that we only have 10 weeks until summer break. I think I can do it!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hopefully I'll be able to get back in to a normal stamping routine and share a bit more once I get home.
Happy Stamping!

Be Mine Valentine ~ A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop
I don't know about you, but January has been the LONGEST month ever! I can honestly say that I am so happy to see the end of the month. Not only are we getting closer to spring, but the end of the month also means an all new A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!

We're back at it sharing our alternative creations using the January Be Mine, Valentine kit. I look forward to Paper Pumpkin every January because I know it will cover school Valentine's for my youngest! While I'll be using the kit as intended for his class treats, I had a few pillow boxes left over, which I cut in half to create some mini treat holders for his friends at church too.
The 2x8 cello bags fit perfectly inside the pillow boxes once I cut them in half. After filling them with some tasty treats, I trimmed off the excess and tied the tag around the top to secure treats.
Stampin' Up! was brilliant to coordinate another kit with a catalog suite! Animal Expedition is one of my favorite suites! I used a bit of the Animal Expedition DSP along with some extra tags to create a couple of cute Valentine cards. These went together so quickly thanks to the punch out pieces!
I hope to see more Paper Pumpkin kits coordinating with our catalog suites. This helps in creating so many more fun projects!
I'm so happy you hopped on by today! Be sure to hop along to all the other participants and see their amazing alternative projects!
Happy Stamping!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Frights and Delights
Welcome to another A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! I'm so excited to be hopping with all of my creative friends again this month and sharing some alternative ideas for September's Frights and Delights Paper Pumpkin Kit.

I absolutely love creating for Halloween, so I was SUPER excited to see this months AMAZING kit! The treat bags will be perfect to use at my upcoming Stamp Club and I'll even have a few left over for some of our special trick or treat friends! That's a win for everyone!
One of the things I love most about the Paper Pumpkin kits each month are all of the GREAT stamps that are included in the kits. Although some of them may not be used in the kit sample, they always spark fun ideas for alternative projects and the stamps included in this months kit did not disappoint!
I used the cute little bats, moon and star stamps to create a fun background for my card and treat box. I used the pre-cut ghost, pumpkin and "eeeek" sentiment, then added a few extra touches with the help of the Twinkle Builder Punch and Takeout Thinlits.
The Takeout Thinlits box is my new favorite treat box. It's just the perfect size for a spooky sweet treat! I wrapped the box with one of the tags included in the kit and the black and sliver bakers twine, topping it off with a spooky little bat.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Paper Pumpkin Frights and Delights Kit
Ink ~ Basic Black
Stamp Set ~ Paper Pumpkin Frights and Delights Kit
Other Supplies ~ Takeout Thinlits, Twinkle Builder Punch, Paper Pumpkin Frights and Delights Kit

Freshly Picked Blueberries
Hello stampin' friends! I hope you are having a terrific week and have some fun plans for the upcoming weekend. I've been trying to squeeze in as much stamping this week as I can, and I am LOVING it! In addition to making some cards for upcoming design team posts, I've been playing around with this Month's Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin kit. Don't forget you can save 50% off your first kit when you subscribe between now and August 10th!
This weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge immediately made me think of a fun alternative card with this months kit!

Aren't these blueberries fun?!?! They remind me of the time we found an unattended patch of blueberries at a dog park in Portland. We filled as many bags as we could and made the BEST blueberry cobbler...yummy! I may have to get some to make another cobbler while we are at the beach next week!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Wood Textures DSP
Ink ~ Soft Suede
Stamp Set ~ Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin July 2018
Other Supplies ~ All other supplies included were from the kit :)
Isn't this fun? I was also inspired by my amazing friend Andrea Tucker...her Paper Pumpkin alternatives this month were so good!
Sadly, my stamping time is over for this morning...I must get out and mow before it gets too hot! Triple digit temps are rolling in this week...I'm ready to escape the heat next week!

Freshly Made Broadway Star
Hello stampin' friends!!! It's Thursday morning, my kids are still sleeping and I a enjoying a delicious cup of coffee while I catch up on my favorite shows and stamping my {early} morning away. Loving this summer break thing!
I recently posted some fun cards using the Broadway Bound suite, which I absolutely love. So you can imagine just how excited I was when I saw that this months Broadway Star Paper Pumpkin coordinated with the suite!
This weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge helped me to create a couple alternative cards with this awesome kit!

I love that many of the pieces are stickers...it's the perfect way to create 8 amazing cards in no time at all!
I also created some using the kit directions with just a few of my own added touches. Aren't these so much fun!
All of the supplies I used were provided in the kit, with the exception of a few pieces of Lovely Lipstick and Basic Black cardstock, as well as black in.
Do you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin? If you aren't a subscriber yet, you are missing out on so much fun! Jump into the fun and subscribe before July 10th to receive the next kit. I've seen a little clip on their inspiration for July's kit and I'm hoping for some summer picnic fun :-)

HSSIC#291 ~ Adventure Awaits
Take me to to the beach!!!
Good morning stampers and welcome to an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. This week we have a fantastic nautical theme that has me longing for a trip to the Oregon Coast!
Confession...I was kind of in a creative funk and could not come up with any ideas when I sat down to create for this weeks challenge. So, I decided to step away and tidy up my craft room a little bit while I waited for inspiration to hit. As I was putting away some of my Paper Pumpkin boxes, I opened up last months You Are My Anchor kit and there was my answer! I had only put together part of the kit and still had lots of fun things left to piece together a quick card and a cute little box, which will be perfect end of the year gifts for my sons teacher!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pool Party, You Are My Anchor Paper
Ink ~ Pool Party, Calypso Coral
Stamp Set ~ You Are My Anchor
Other Supplies ~ Whisper White Bakers Twine, You Are My Anchor
I am in the final stretch of my contract year at my job and am really looking forward to having some time off this summer with my family. We are hoping to squeeze in a camping trip or two and will be headed to the Oregon Coast mid summer...I am so READY!!!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop on by Hand Stamped Sentiments and share what you've been inspired to create today!

Home Run Birthday
Happy Monday stampin' friends!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I was supposed to head down to Portland OR for the Helvatia half marathon this weekend, but ended up staying home so I could watch my boys play their last baseball game of regular season. While I am bummed I missed the race and spending time with my aunt, I am so happy I decided to stay home..both of my boys played so well and they were both so thankful that I was here to see them play!
This month's SSINK sketch was perfect for a baseball birthday card I needed to make for one of my boys' friends. Baseball is a huge part of our lives and all of our boys have made some amazing friends over the years...we love every single minute of it!

This week we have a sketch with a mashup challenge of adding leaves to your project. I always love an open sketch like this...so many possibilities!
