Just a Note

Happy Wednesday stampers!  I have to admit...I've kind of been neglecting the amazing goodness in the annual catalog.  It happens EVERY time the Occasions Catalog comes out! I get so wrapped up in all of the new stuff that I forget about some of the awesome stamp sets from the annual catty!

 

We've had lots of gloomy weather lately, so I thought it would be fun to create a card to brighten up a friends day!  The Tutti-frutti DSP combined with the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlits made for a fun and cheerful card!

Ink ~ Sweet Sugarplum, Bermuda Bay

I love how the vellum softens things up just a little...and kind of hides the clouds too :)  I need to remember to use this more!

Happy {Scrappy} Birthday

Happy Wednesday stampers!

I know you've seen a lot from me lately with the Lift Me Up stamp set and coordinating Sale-a-Bration Carried Away DSP...which means I have lots of scraps from this stack of paper!

It's a good thing SSINK is having a scrap day today because I need to use some of them up!  You should see my scrap bin...it's overflowing.  I am such a hoarder, but then I get so overwhelmed by it that I end up dumping the whole thing once in a while and start fresh.  Maybe I'll stick my scrap bin out at my next stamp club and let everyone pick from it!

Anyway...since I had so many Carried Away DSP scraps in the front of my bin, that's what I went to for today's card.

I went with a very simple card design for a more masculine creation.  My husband is an avid hunter, so this design in the Carried Away DSP was perfect for a Valentine card.

Cloud Nine Birthday ~ Monday Montage



Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

How is everyone doing?!?  Still battling the winter weather or is it warming up for you?  After a crazy ice storm early last week, we are finally starting to warm up and our snow is almost all gone.  All of the melted snow has left us with a soggy, muddy mess of a yard, but I'll take it over the single digit temps and 12+ inches of snow!

The little bit of sunshine we had this weekend had me thinking of warmer weather and blue skies.  While we are still a couple of months away from that, I can at least dream of it with paper and ink!  I absolutely love the hot air balloons in the Life Me Up Bundle, which coordinates perfectly with the Carrie Away DSP in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!
