'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

...well, it's actually the morning before Christmas, but the excitement is filling my house this morning!!!  My boys are counting the hours until I am off of work so we can frost our cookies for Santa and have our annual dart gun game.

I am holding on to the fact that my 9 year old boys still believe in Santa and enjoying each and every minute of it this year!  We went on a Christmas light boat tour last weekend for the twins' birthday and got to see Santa across the lake, where he read all of the kids who were on the "Good List". All 3 of my boys were on the list and they are CERTAIN it was the real Santa that was there...I love it!  Their belief is what inspired my card for today...

Spooky Bokeh

Blustery Fall Day

Hi friends!  Happy Tuesday :-)  It's hard to believe it's already the end of September...time flies by way too fast!  It was cold and blustery this morning when I headed out for my run, so I decided to make a card today that went along with our weather.

Happy Birthday, Deer

Happy Wednesday and Happy Birthday to my hubby! 

 

For those who know my husband, he is an AVID hunter and as hunting season gets closer, he gets a little bit crazier with each passing day.  Buck fever is putting it mildly.  And now that my twins are showing interest, it's all I hear about. 

 

I loved the big ol' buck from the Remembering Christmas stamp set in last years Holiday catalog and was super sad it didn't carry over.  That buck is perfect for all the guys in my family who love to hunt.  While I was sad to see this set go, I was happy to see a cute little buck in the White Christmas stamp set in this years Holiday catalog.  I had something a little different than this card in mind when I started, so it didn't turn out quite like I had planned, but it will work!

Home for the Holidays ~ HSSCC192

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  I know I was just saying yesterday that I'm not ready for summer to end, but it's hard to not get in the Christmas spirit when you have a box full of new Holiday Catalog goodies :-)

The latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge screams Christmas at me and gave me a good excuse to ink up my new Holiday Home stamp set.  I love this set...and I really LOVE that it has some coordinating framelits!
