Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge #281

We made it through another Monday!!!  And that means it's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. 

We have a fun color challenge for you this week. 

I'll be the first to admit...I had no clue what to do with these colors at first, but after looking through my stamp sets, I knew the watercolor heart image from the Heart Happiness stamp set would be perfect in these colors!

I stamped off once to achieve a lighter color...the full color was a bit too bold for me!

Simple Saturday

Hello stampers and happy Saturday!

 

Our Saturday's are jammed packed with sports between now and the end of June, so my stamping time on Saturday's is pretty limited right now.  But since I try to get in my craft room a little bit each day, I've decided to go with Simple Saturday stamping :-)  It's always great to have a quick and easy card for any occasion.

 

Picture Perfect Party Suite is absolutely perfect for creating a simple card. The two step stamps in the stamp set are so easy to use and create some pretty cute images, like these party horns.  Add some super cute DSP from the Picture Perfect Party DSP stack, a few sequins and BAM...you're done!

I love the font in the sentiments in this stamp set too!  I pretty much love EVERYTHING in this whole suite!!!

#tgifc144 Technique Week - Card in a Box

It's time for this weeks TGIF Challenge!  This week is Technique Week and we are creating a card in a box!

 

I'm not gonna lie...I have the hardest time with these cards!  They are so super cute, but I have a heck of a time figuring out what to have popping out of my box! 

My youngest has been obsessed with the Myths & Magic Suite, so I decided to create a little castle.  I think the only thing missing for this super cute stamp set is a pretty little princess!  But my brave night is keeping the unicorn safe from the dragon :)

Just a Note

Happy Wednesday stampers!  I have to admit...I've kind of been neglecting the amazing goodness in the annual catalog.  It happens EVERY time the Occasions Catalog comes out! I get so wrapped up in all of the new stuff that I forget about some of the awesome stamp sets from the annual catty!

 

We've had lots of gloomy weather lately, so I thought it would be fun to create a card to brighten up a friends day!  The Tutti-frutti DSP combined with the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlits made for a fun and cheerful card!

I love how the vellum softens things up just a little...and kind of hides the clouds too :)  I need to remember to use this more!

Southern Birthday Serenade

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

Do you ever have days where you try and try to create something and just can't get what you have in you mind on paper?  That was totally me today!  I had an idea using another stamp set, but when I got everything stamped and laid out, I was not happy with it....AT ALL! Rather than continue to frustrate myself, I set that project aside and chose a totally different stamp set and went with something simple and pretty.

I LOVE the lace background and pretty bunch of flowers in the Southern Serenade stamp set.  The flowers are perfect for coloring.  I stamped the lace background in Sahara Sand, stamped off once.  I wanted just a little peak of the lace behind the flowers, which I fussy cut and popped up a little with the super cute Mini Stampin' Dimensionals...those little dots of foam are the BEST! Add a few pears, sequins and sentiment and I now have the perfect card to send to my mother in law for her birthday later this week.
