Swirly Sails

What I wouldn't give to be sailing in the swirly swells of the sea right now...it's so HOT in my corner of Washington state right now!  I'll just have to settle for stamping in my basement, where it stays nice and cool all day and dream of the sea!

The girls over at SSINK are INKspiring everyone with single layer cards and I'm sharing my creativity with you today too!  Single layer cards are always the hardest for me because I always feel like I need MORE!  It's hard to see in the picture, but I added a scored box around the sail boat, which was the perfect added touch for a single layer card!

Enjoy the Little Things

Happy Tuesday stampers!  

It was so nice to have an extra day off this weekend, especially since my family spent yesterday simply having fun and relaxing.  Our house has consumed our lives the past few weeks, so it was awesome to just spend the day together and not working on any house projects.  I even managed to take advantage of nap time to play with some paper and ink so I could play along with this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge and join my girls over at SSINK for some summer time fun!

Happy Mother's Day

Good morning stampers and Happy Mother's Day!

Today is a day where we celebrate our Mothers and show them just how much we love and cherish them.  My boys show me how much they love me every day, but they always make Mother's Day a little extra special.  As I celebrate this day as a mom, I am reminded of all that my own mom taught me and am so blessed for all that she does for me.  

Happy Mother's Day to my own momma...a friend, a teacher and the world's best grandma...we all love you back to the moon!
