The countdown continues over at SSINK and I am sharing one of my favorite new In-Colors..Mint Macaron!  This color screams ice cream to me...mint chocolate chip to be exact!  Thanks to the new Sprinkles of Life stamp set and coordinating Tree Builder Punch, creating a yummy looking mint chocolate chip ice cream cone was a piece of cake....er, ice cream!

As you check out today's Inkspiration from my page, be sure to check out the rest of the projects by the SSInkspiration Design Team for today!

Inspiring Partridge & Pears

Inspiration can be found anywhere you look!  Your home, your yard, magazines, books, PINTEREST...it's every where you look!  I love to pull my inspiration from pictures.  Whether it be colors or a design element, it's fun to look at a picture and find something that sparks your creativity.
We have an inspiration post over at SSInkspiration today and the first thing I was drawn to was the pretty colors in the picture.  I love the different shades of teals and yellows with a little hint of green.
This photo inspired me to pull out the Partridge and Pears stamp set and have little Blendabilities fun!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Gold Glimmer Paper
Ink ~ Tuxedo Black Momento, Rich Razzleberry, Blendabilities: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Rich Razzleberry, Gold Stampin Dazzle Marker
Stamp Sets ~ Partridges & Pears, Remembering Your Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Banner Punch, Old Olive Bakers Twine

I've kind of been hooked on adding a little splash of color with a couple of little punched out pieces and a strip of twine...and a staple of course...don't forget the staple!

What will INKspire YOU to create today?

Happy Stamping!

The Leaves are a Fallin'

Happy {windy} Saturday!  I had high hopes of getting outside and raking the mass amount of leaves that we have in our back yard, but Mother Nature had a different idea.  It poured rain all morning and now the wind is blowing like crazy. Pointless to rake in the wind, right?  Oh well...stamping it is :-)  No complaints here!  All of the falling leaves have inspired me though...
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Summer Starfruit, Sweater Weather DSP
Ink ~ Early Espresso, Summer Starfruit, Cajun Craze, Gold Metallic Encore
Stamp Sets ~ Lovely As a Tree, Remembering Your Birthday, Gorgeous Grunge
Other Supplies ~ Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Circle Framelits, 2-1/2" Circle Punch

I love this sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday!  It will be one I use again for sure!

Hope you are having a great weekend so far!

Happy Stamping!

The Beastie Brats

Nope, I'm not talking about my kids!  I'm talking about these kids...
My aunt and my momma!
They look so sweet and cute, but don't let them fool you!  My grandma has some pretty funny stories of some of their shenanigans when they were younger.  (I can totally relate!)  They put my grandma to the test when they were little, as do my twins, and earned their name as the Beastie Brats :-)  Today I want to wish both of them a very Happy Birthday!
My grandma called me over the weekend and asked me if I would make them each a card as she is not able to get out as much as she used to.  I was more than happy to oblige!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Night of Navy, Naturals Ivory, Gold Foil
Ink ~ VersaMark, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Night of Navy
Stamp Sets ~ Fine Feathers, Remembering Your Birthday, Gorgeous Grunge
Other Supplies ~ Gold Embossing Powder, Burlap Ribbon, Crochet Trim, Antique Brads
As you can tell from the picture, they are not identical twins, but they are alike in many other ways.  I was going to make them totally different cards, but I liked the first one I made so much, I decided to make another one, but just a little bit different...just like my mom and my aunt.
My mom will most likely see this post before I get the card to her...so act surprised, ok Mom?  Happy Birthday to both of you!  I love you!

Minnie's Bowtique Birthday

Welcome to Minnie's Bowtique!
Any of you who have little ones who love the Mickey Mouse show, you all know what I'm talking about :-)  Mickey Mouse is a favorite in our house and an episode of Minnie's Bowtique inspired me to create this fun card for a good friend who recently got to celebrate her birthday with Minnie, Mickey and all their friends!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Strawberry Slush, Basic Black, Whisper White, Neutrals and 2013-2014 In Color DSP Stacks
Ink ~ Strawberry Slush
Stamp Set ~ Remembering Your Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Small Heart Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, In Color Boutique Details, Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Trim, Build a  Banner Stencil

Yep, I used the polka dot stencil again...it just screamed to be used with this card!  And you might just notice that I also used the latest sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments for this card too!  You still have time to play along...join in the fun!

Happy Stamping!
