Happy Tuesday beautiful stampin' friends!  Only one more week and many stampers will come together in beautiful Salt Lake City for the last Convention as we know it...I can't wait to see you all!! 

All of the excitement has got my creative mojo flowing, as does this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge!

I cheated a little and added a couple of extra colors...I hope you'll forgive me!!  It's been a long time since I've used this stamp set an I forgot how much I love it!

Colorful Bloomin' Birthday

Did you all celebrate World Cardmaking Day on Saturday?  I know I did...and continued to celebrate into yesterday as well.  I sure do love me a crafty weekend!

It's the first Monday of the month, which means it's time for a new color challenge over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  We have some pretty fall colors to INKspire you today!

Happy Blooming Birthday ~ Monday Montage

The end of September and beginning of October are full of birthday for me!   I feel like all I have made this past week are birthday cards :-) 

Today is my God Mother's birthday and she will be joining us tonight, along with my mom and her sister, for a special birthday dinner.  I love family dinners like this and am so blessed to have so much of my family right in my neighborhood! 

It's been a while since I played with the Flower Patch set and coordinating framelits...I forgot how much I love this set!

Here is a close up of the flowers and you can see the embossing on the card front a little better too.

Inspire.Create.Share.Swap ~ Monday Montage



Welcome to the Inspire.Create.Share edition of the Monday Montage Blog Hop!  Most of us are making our way back home or have made it home from this years Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City.  It was so much fun to meet up with so many of the Monday Montage girls again this year...love all of them to pieces!  And in case you missed it, our very own Kaitlyn Zumbach was selected as one of the 2014-2015 Artisan Design Team members!!!  Zumba, zumba, zumba...GO Kaitlyn!!!  We are so stinkin' proud of you!!!

Yep...I made some more enamel dots again with little circles of paper and Crystal Effects...love these!!!  And guess what?!!?  There are some of these wonderful little dots of color coming in a new Project Life Accessory Kit in the Holiday Catalog...yay!!!

Blooming 90th Birthday

Do you know what day it is?  Yep...it's Tuesday, which means in a few short hours I'll be hopping on a plane to SLC to meet up with some of my favorite stampin' people....I.am.so.EXCITED!!!  Not only am I excited to see all of those amazing friends, but I am super excited for Convention too!  I can't wait to see what they have in store for this year and am looking forward to coming home and sharing it with all of my favorite local stampers!

But, before I jump on that plane and enjoy 5 days away, it's time for a new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  This week we have a sketch to share with you and it's a fun one!

Since all of our family was in town for my brother-in-laws wedding, we gathered everyone together on Sunday morning and celebrated my hubby's grandmother's 90th birthday.  All I can say is that I hope I am as in good as shape and health that she is at 90...that woman is AMAZING!!! 

 

Ok, off to finish a few (or a dozen) last minute things before I abandon my husband with all 3 boys!  Hoping I come home to a clean house and perfect little angel children...a momma can dream, right??!

Be YOU {tiful} Friend

Happy Friday friends!  Where did this week go?!?!  It seems like Monday was  just yesterday...gotta love when the week days fly by :-)  I started my summer work schedule this week and have Thursdays off until my kiddos go back to school.  I am very lucky and blessed that my boss is such a kind hearted man and allows me to work this schedule, which allows me a little more time to have fun with my boys.

Since I didn't have to work yesterday, I was able to take advantage of some early morning stamping while everyone else slept...yay! I got two of my Convention card swaps designed and made a couple of other fun cards too.  I'm still lovin' Flower Patch and inked it up again.

I could not WAIT to order the new Photopolymer Flower Patch Stamp Set!  I'm not a huge flower fan, but this set is just so much fun.  And the fact that there are matching framelits makes it that much better! 

I found these cute little vases a while back at a local craft store and they have been sitting, empty in my living room.  My son Aidan has been bugging me for WEEKS to make some flowers to put in them and was so happy to "FINALLY" {as he told me yesterday} see them filled!

These flowers were made by stamping the images on Filter Paper and placing them on floral wire.  I stamped each image 4 times to create a fuller flower.  I wasn't sure how well they would turn out, but I was pretty happy with the end result.  I'm embarrassed to say that this is only the second time I've ever used the Filter Paper, but you can bet I'll be using it more!

 

The two cards I made are CASE's from page 155 in the new catalog.  I love the color combo and the Kraft paper!
