Treats for my Loves

Hello happy stampers!  We made it through another week...I'm doing a little happy dance :-)  I love me a Friday!!!

I've been doing a little countdown to Valentine's Day for my boys, leaving them a little treat each morning.  It's been fun coming up with different ideas and treats to surprise them with each day.

 

Today's Valentine/candy theme over at Friday Mashup Challenge along with the 3-D challenge over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration inspired these cute little Ghiradelli Chocolate wraps. 

I'm the queen of procrastination and am usually scrambling early in the morning to put their treats together, so I was super happy that these went together so quickly!

Do More of What Makes You Happy

I spent my day yesterday doing all the things that make me happy...running, watching my boys play baseball, digging in the dirt and, of course, STAMPING!  It was a perfect Mother's Day and I went to bed with a full heart and a happy smile on my face.  I hope YOU got to do what makes you happy too!

Washi Feathered Birthday ~ Monday Montage

Color Me Lovely

It's Friday, which means it's time for a new Friday Mashup Challenge.  This week we are challenging you to create a project using Red, Pink and White or a project with a romantic theme...or you can mash things up and create a loved themed project using the colors.

Snuggles and Smooches are So Sweet

Today we are focusing on the super cute Snuggles and Smooches stamp set over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  This is by far one of my most favorite photopolymer stamp sets...I have used the heck out of it!  I just love those scribbled circles!

Today's card is a CASE of the fabulous Kimberly Van Diepen's Leadership swap....I fell in love with her card and just had to recreate it! 

I used this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge and used KVD's water colored scribbled circles as part of the sketch.

Bokeh Hearts



Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop and I'm glad you are here with us!

I have a very simple card today with one of my favorite techniques...bokeh.  But rather than using circles for this technique, I used hearts today. 
I started with a taped off piece of water color paper which I inked up with Rose Red, a color I don't use very often, but should!  Once it was dry I added the simple Love sentiment from fun new Hello Life stamp set and a few little bokeh hearts.  Sweet and simple!

The next couple of days are looking to be busy...trying to get everything done that I need to get done before I head to Orlando for Leadership...YIPPEE!!!!   I'll admit, I'm a little stressed for my hubby having to deal with the whole school routine while I'm gone.  The only other time I've been gone for more than over night is during Convention, which is during summer break when our schedules aren't packed full!  It will be good for him and my boys, right??!?
