Oh, What Fun ~ 2015 Holiday Catalog Countdown

Have you been following along with our countdown over at SSINK?  Are you loving what you've seen so far?!?!?

We are having so much fun showcasing each season/holiday that is represented in the Holiday Catalog!  Today we are sharing our Christmas creations with you.  I absolutely LOVE the Home for Christmas DSP!  It has such a nostalgic feel to it...makes me think of the Christmas decorations my grandma use to put up every year!

I could have swore I got some of the adorable Home for Christmas buttons, but they are no where to be found!  (Maybe they are with my missing sequins!)  It's a good thing the Very Vintage Buttons work just as well with this DSP :-)

Thankful for You ~ 2015 Holiday Catalog Countdown

The countdown to the 2015 Holiday Catalog continues!  Only a few more days until everyone can add all of the amazingly awesome goodness of this catalog to their stamping collection!  This is, by far, the BEST catalog we've had yet!

 

The girls at SSINK are keeping things going on the countdown off with Thanksgiving today.  There are so many great sets and suites in the Holiday Catalog.  The Into the Woods suite is one of my favorites...I just love all of the cute little critters!

Woodland Birthday

Today's post is brought to you by my hubby's birthday...Happy Birthday hubby!!!

Anyone who knows Paul is well aware that he is a bit of a hunting freak...the man literally dreams about hunting this time of year and gets more excited than a little boy on Christmas morning.  So...it's become kind of a tradition that I make him a hunting related card every year for his birthday.  I was in a bit of a panic this year because I don't have any deer, elk or moose stamps.  What to do, what to do?!!  Then I remember I had just got the adorable Reindeer Paper Clips in my pre-order!  Add the Woodland embossing folder for the background and I now have a hunting related card!

Today is not only my hubby's birthday, but it is the start of the first 4 day off rotation he has had in MONTHS!  I am taking him and the kiddos away for a long weekend get away to Seattle for a Mariners game.  Looking forward to a great weekend with the family!

Grateful Acorns ~ Monday Montage

We are still sweating through one of the hottest summers we've had in a few years, but that doesn't mean I'm not starting to think about fall...but only a little, because I know after fall comes the dreadful winter and I am NOT ready for that!  As we enjoy our last few weeks of summer break, easing my way into fall is a little easier since I have some fun new fall stampy things to play with!

Little itty bitty acorns are starting to fall from our trees, so they inspired this card today.  I love this "Acorny" set and the coordinating punch is the best!  And those wood elements...adorable and perfect for all of your fall creations!
