It's Your Day

After seeing all of the awesome Big on You creations over at SSINK this morning, I could not wait to get down to my craft room and ink up this stamp set for the first time!  This was the first set that I fell in love with when the 2015 Occasions Catalog came out.  So why in the heck did I take so long to ink it up?!?!?  I LOVE this stamp set!

This pretty card is going to a pretty special friend and co-worker today as she celebrates her birthday!  When ever I send a birthday card, or any card for that matter, I always write on a sticky note to put on the inside of the card...this way, they can send the card on to someone else at a later date if they need to :-)  Kind of makes the card a special gift!

Celebrate Your Big Day...

...with cake!  Every day should be celebrated with cake, right?  Oh, how I wish :-)  Since my derriere can't handle cake every day, I'll settle for a fun card instead!

I took a few days off from stamping to enjoy some time with my family, but I was back at it bright and early this morning after seeing this weeks fun sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches.

I couldn't help but add the fun pom-pom and sequin trim to this...you just have to include it with this festive DSP!

Beautiful Lotus Blossom Birthday

Hello and Happy New Year!!  I hope you all had a safe and fun night!  My boys and I had a fun night of playing games and watching a movie over at my parents house...and since we are on the west coast, we celebrated the New Year with everyone on the east coast and were snug in our beds by 10PM!

I'm back in full on crafting mode and am happy to be kicking of the New Year with all of the fabulous ladies over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration!  It has been so great getting to know everyone and I am super excited for all of our new Design Team members who are joining us this year....WELCOME!

I have a pretty card that I CASE'd from the 2015 Sale-a-Bration catalog...love the Lotus Blossom stamp set!

I used some of the beautiful Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP, which you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase during SAB.  This paper is all white with glossy patterns that is amazing when spritzed with a little color!

I had a special delivery of 2015 Occasions Catalog goodies on Friday afternoon and had a little bit of time to play with a few things this weekend!  The cute new You Plus Me stamps set was perfect (in my mind at least!) for this sketch!
