Sunshine and Rainbows

It's CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit)the Designer week over at Global Design Project and these two cards are filled with so much beautiful inspiration! These cards were created by the creators of the Global Design Project Team...so much talent between these two artists!

I had some fun mixing patterns for my CASE. Take a look!

I pulled a couple of fun patterns from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP and paired it up with the adorable Just My Type Stamp set.  I had to add in the Rays of Light background stamp to go along with the sunshine and rainbows sentiment!

Just Swinging By

There isn't anything much cuter than these cheeky little monkey's in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog.  And the fact that there is a coordinating punch for one of the monkey's and a banana makes it even cuter!

This month's Creative Challenge at Stampin' Up! is to find fun ways to use the Light, Medium and Deep Natural Tones Stampin' Blends.  What better way to use them than on these adorable little jungle critters!

In addition to all of the fun coloring, some Lemon Lolly bananas were stamped on the card base and a couple Zoo Crew DSP bits of paper tied the whole zoo theme together.  (You can snag the Zoo Crew for 15% off until June 30th...don't miss it!)  No embellishments needed when you have all this cuteness to steal the show!

Seaside Birthday Wishes

This weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge certainly has a summer feel to it! Sandy starfish, cool ice cream treats, a beautiful pitcher of a refreshing drink or grapes that are perfect for picking...so many fun and inspiring options!

I opted for the cute seashells from Circle Sayings and paired them up with {Sun}Rays of Light for a cheerful, summer-at-the-beach birthday card!  I colored the seashells in a variety of beach inspired colors that left me longing for some time at my favorite ocean town.

A distressed layer of Boho Blue embossed with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder gave the card a little ocean waves feel went under the Lemon Lolly sun rays. A Crumb Cake Card base ties the whole beach theme together...sun, water and sand!

A bit of Boho Blue Texture Ribbon and a few Boho Blue In Color dots finished the card off.  It's such a happy card!

Share a Cupcake

Woohoo, we made it to Friday and you know what that means! A new TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge!

This WAS a challenge for me because I own ZERO stamps with cupcakes! But that's  the beauty of a challenge...to challenge yourself!  

How about turning a milkshake into a cupcake?!?  That's what I did!  Cutting the bottom off of the milkshake glass and adding some fluffy frosting, I turned a milkshake into a cupcake!

I went with the same colors in the photo and ended up with a color combo that reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream.  I used the waffle cone die to create some sprinkles and added some fun texture with the 3D Basics embossing folder.

Biggest Wish came out for a sweet sentiment to finish things off.  I love layering the fonts with this stamp set!

Fresh (as a) Daisy Friendship

 

The Monday Montage crew is back with an all new hop for all of you to enjoy!  No matter where you start, be sure to hop on all the way through so you don't miss a single amazing creation by this talented group of stampers!

I'll be honest, I was not drawn to the Fresh as a Daisy Suite at first.  But over time it has grown on me and now that I've had the opportunity to create a few projects with it, I love it!

I selected this beautiful pattern of Fresh As a Daisy DSP and fussy cut around the tops of the beautiful white daisies.  I added some texture with one of the awesome Basics 3D embossing folders to go behind the fussy cut DSP.

Next came some cheerful die-cut Daisies, layered to add a little more fluff to the flowers!  I pulled out the Copper Clay ink pad for the first time for the sentiment...the only stamping required for this card!  A few Boho Blue In Color Dots and a Boho Blue Textured Ribbon finished the card off.

Now it's on to the next stop of the hop!
