Healing Vibes ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back once again another fabulous hop for you to enjoy!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!

I finally had a weekend where I didn't feel like I was running around non-stop and it was so NICE! My twins had a baseball tournament on Saturday, which warmed my baseball momma heart.  I haven't made it to many of their fall tournaments because I've been busy being a soccer momma too :-) My husband and I have learned our lesson this fall...3 boys in 4 different sports is TOO much.  It's a good thing our family knows how to work together as a team or we'd be defeated in a hurry!

Since we didn't have 7 million things going on this weekend, I had time to put my craft room back in order and finally unbox my last order, which may or may not have been sitting on my desk for almost two weeks.  It was kind of like Christmas opening up the box because I had almost forgotten what I had ordered.  Healing Hugs was one of the stamp sets in the box and the first one I decided to ink up {after I cleaned my office!}.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Merry Merlot, Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP
Stamp Set ~ Healing Hugs
Ink ~ Merry Merlot, Old Olive
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles Frameits, Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine, Metallic Sequin Assortment, Gold Mini Sequin Trim

I absolutely LOVE Merry Merlot.  It's such a rich, bold and beautiful color!  Paired up with Old Olive and the touch of wood grain made for a beautiful combination of colors.  And aren't the Distinktive stamps amazing?!?!  I love all of the detail!

Next stop on the hop is my crafty Colorado friend Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on backwards to the amazingly talented Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Frights and Delights

Welcome to another A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!  I'm so excited to be hopping with all of my creative friends again this month and sharing some alternative ideas for September's Frights and Delights Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I absolutely love creating for Halloween, so I was SUPER excited to see this months AMAZING kit!  The treat bags will be perfect to use at my upcoming Stamp Club and I'll even have a few left over for some of our special trick or treat friends!  That's a win for everyone!

One of the things I love most about the Paper Pumpkin kits each month are all of the GREAT stamps that are included in the kits.  Although some of them may not be used in the kit sample, they always spark fun ideas for alternative projects and the stamps included in this months kit did not disappoint!

I used the cute little bats, moon and star stamps to create a fun background for my card and treat box.  I used the pre-cut ghost, pumpkin and "eeeek" sentiment, then added a few extra touches with the help of the Twinkle Builder Punch and Takeout Thinlits.
The Takeout Thinlits box is my new favorite treat box.  It's just the perfect size for a spooky sweet treat!  I wrapped the box with one of the tags included in the kit and the black and sliver bakers twine, topping it off with a spooky little bat.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Paper Pumpkin Frights and Delights Kit
Ink ~ Basic Black
Stamp Set ~ Paper Pumpkin Frights and Delights Kit
Other Supplies ~ Takeout Thinlits, Twinkle Builder Punch, Paper Pumpkin Frights and Delights Kit

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  Please be sure to click on the links below to keep on hoppin'.  You don't want to miss out on any of the spooktacular creations!

Happy Stamping!

Bright Broadway Birthday Wishes ~ HSSCC299

Good morning stampers and welcome to Tuesday!  We made it through Monday...the rest of the week will be a piece of cake, right?!?!

This Tuesday brings an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.

I'm running a little low on birthday cards, so that's the direction I took with today's card.  I never seem to have enough birthday cards on hand for all of the tween and teen friends of my boys.  The Broadway Birthday stamp set is perfect for this age range of kiddos!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Night of Navy
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape
Stamp Set ~ Broadway Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Broadway Lights Framelits Dies, Candle Embellishments, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Sweet, simple and to the point...perfect for any tween or teen who will be celebrating a birthday this year!  Should I mention the fact that having to create birthday cards for girls when I have a house full of boys kind of freaks me out?!?!  My twins will be 13 in a couple of months and girls are becoming a bit more popular in their little lives...I'm not sure this momma is ready for this!

I hope you all have a terrific Tuesday!

Happy Stamping!

Autumn Birthday Wishes

The first day of fall was just a couple days ago and our fall weather came right along with it!  I love having cooler mornings and evenings...and being able to open the windows at our house to enjoy the fresh air.  With cooler weather comes yummy fall foods too!  My house was filled today with the yummy aroma of taco soup and apple crisp for my momma's birthday dinner.

With the cooler temps, the leaves are quickly beginning to change color, which was the inspiration behind my mom's birthday card.  Have I mentioned how HAPPY I am to have Blackberry Bliss back in our SU world of colors?!?!  It is just so beautifully warm and perfect for fall creations!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Blackberry Bliss, Crushed Curry, Copper Foil Paper
Ink ~ Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Set ~ Happy Birthday Gorgeous
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Squares Framelits, Seasonal Layers Thinlits, Nature's Twine, Faceted Dots, Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

I can not tell you how happy I was to find a bit of time to create today!  Last week was exhausting on so many levels and my creative time was very limited. My stamping time is a major stress relief for me and when I don't get enough time in my craft room, I definitely feel it!  Here's to hoping this week is a little less crazy and I keep my emotions in check...not an easy task with 3 buys boys in the house!

I hope you all had a great weekend and kicked off your fall festivities by doing something fun with your family or friends.

Happy Stamping!

#tgifc178 Inspiration Challenge

Hello happy stampers!  It's Friday and that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges.  This week we have an inspiration challenge for you that will hopefully help you get a jump start on your holiday prep.
Life has been crazy busy for our family and I'm not quite ready to embrace the fact that Christmas is just a little over 3 months away.  So, while I kindly ignore that little fact, I will make sure that I have some fun Halloween cards and treat bags to share with my friends this spooky season!

I haven't seen a ton of cards made with the adorable Making Every Day Bright stamp set, so I decided to ink mine up and have some fun!  All of the little light bulbs in this set are so cute and perfect for any occasion!  Isn't the little spider the best?!?  Combined with the Spooky Sweets stamp set, you can make some super fun creations!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie, Silver Foil
Ink ~ Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist, Gorgeous Grape
Stamp Sets ~ Making Every Day Bright, Spooky Sweets
Other Supplies ~ Oh My Stars Embossing Folder, Twinkle Builder, Spooky Bats Punch, Christmas Bulb Builder Punch, Basic Black Bakers Twine, Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon, Glitter Enamel Dots, Twinkle Adhesive-Backed Sequins, 2" Circle Punch, Everyday Label Punch

Lemon Lime Twist, Gorgeous Grape and Pumpkin Pie are my go-to Halloween colors this year. They are just so yummy together!

Now that I've got a few Halloween projects behind me, I need to get to work and help my youngest decide what he's going to be for Halloween this year.  Last year we were digging through his closet the day of to come up with something and I do NOT want to deal with that stress again...LOL!!  Feel free to send any ideas my way!

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Stamping!
