Toadally Awesome Mom

It was a whirlwind of a weekend for my and my hubby!  We drove up to Spokane to run the 40th annual Bloomsday 12K run , which we had so much fun running...and we came home with a brand new car!  With 3 growing boys and baseball gear for all, we were quickly outgrowing our car and had to upgrade to something a little bigger.  Our kiddos sure were excited when we pulled up in the driveway!

I had just enough time to get a little inky before our blog hop went live, so I put together this cute Mother's Day card, which is NEXT Sunday!  The days are getting shorter and shorter!  I need more hours in a day!  I still have a few more Mother's Day cards I need to get done and in the mail early this week...I see some early morning and late night stamping happening :-)

Sublime Birthday ~ HSSCC220

Happy Tuesday Stampin' friends!  I hope you are all refreshed after a long weekend and ready to tackle a new week...I know I am!  I took advantage of my day off yesterday and spent some quality time in my craft room...a much needed dose of stamp therapy!

One of the projects I worked on was for this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge . 

I love this little submarine and it just begs to be colored yellow...perfect for this color combo!

You're Sublime

I stamped tonight...just because...and stamped away two days of stress and anxiety...one of the many reasons I love Stampin' Up! and what I do.

 

Every year, towards the end of summer break, I find myself turning into a crazy stressed out mess.  Working 40 hours a week from home with 3 crazy boys running around (with dart guns most days) and a hubby gone 85% of the time tends to wear on me.  Today was one of those days where I was on the verge of losing my mind...my youngest was up at 5:15, full of it from the minute he opened his door.  As soon as the big boys were up, the arguing and fighting started and I was counting the minutes until it was time for my youngest to take a nap.  I had to put MYSELF in time out for a few minutes after lunch...the boys knew at that point that I was D.O.N.E.  Their attitude and behavior quickly changed and our afternoon did get better.  I wrapped up my work day and decided to take a few minutes to stamp before I started dinner and it was my saving grace!  Stamping really is therapeutic!

Have a Snappy Day

It's the last day of the work week before a holiday weekend AND it's a full moon...it's bound to be a snappy day!  Here's to a day that goes by quickly and without too much crazy!

Who else fell in love with the You're Sublime stamp set just because of the adorable little camper...LOVE!  This makes me want to load up a camper and follow my heart right back to the cool, sunny Oregon Coast...far away from the miserable 110+ degree heat here at home.  Guess we are done being spoiled with the cooler summer temps we've had the past few years!
