Love That We Are Friends

Welcome to another fabulous Monday Montage blog hop!  We have so many amazing creations to share with you, so make sure you don't miss a single stop!

I'm not sure how the weekend is already over!  They always go by so fast, especially when you have a weekend full of activities and events.  Thanks so some cold, wintery weather that rolled in and a quiet Sunday afternoon, I still had some time to stamp, which always makes for a good weekend.

I just recently added the Country Floral Lane suite to my collection and I'm so happy I did!  The floral patterns in the Country Floral Lane DSP are so pretty, but the flip side of each of those patterns are my favorite, especially these Sweet Sorbet stripes!

I stamped the larger floral heart image in Sweet Sorbet and Pear Pizzazz and fussy cut the heart shape.  The cute striped heart was stamped in Sweet Sorbet and the smaller heart was stamped in Petal Pink and punched out with the Country Bouquet Punch.
A couple of Pear Pizzazz leaves and a Mossy Meadow spring were tucked behind the sentiment, which was embossed on Evening Evergreen.  I don't use a ton of ribbon, but I love this Burlap Ribbon and had to use it!  I wrapped it around the largest Stylish Shapes circle and secured it with a white Baker's Twine bow.  So cute! a few of the Pastel Sequins added just the right amount of bling to complete the card.

Next up is Cathy of Sugar Shack Designs...your going to love what she has for us this week!

Or if you want to hop on back, you'll find yourself at Wendy of Wickedly Wonderful Creations...she has a pretty wonderful creation to share with us too!
Thanks for hopping along with us!

Dainty, Kind and Sincere

Happy Monday stampers!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! And to those of us who have the honor of an extra day off on this MLK Jr. Day, I hope your day is filled with something crafty.
I am enjoying a slow, quiet morning with some coffee and cards.  I opened up the beautiful Dainty Flowers DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and paired it up with the Kind & Sincere stamp set.  I love the bright, bold colors of these dainty little flowers!

The first card I kept pretty simple, using the DSP pattern with the pretty oval wreath of flowers.  There are enough of these patterns in the pack to make 12 cards like this...perfect for a card class!  I stamped the Thanks from Kind & Sincere and fussy cut it.  So Very Much was embossed on a piece of Rich Razzleberry and die-cut with Stitched Rectangles.  A Linen Thread faux-bow and a few little Brushed Brass Butterflies finished the card off.

I stepped things up a bit with the next card, fussy cutting the string of flowers from the same pattern of DSP as the oval floral wreath...not wasting one single bit of this DSP!  This time I stamped Congratulations, again in Rich Razzleberry and fussy cutting it out. To You was embossed on Rich Razzleberry and die-cut with the little banner from Stylish Shapes Dies.  Another Linen Thread faux-bow and some butterflies completed this card.

The final card is another beautiful pattern of DSP full of so many pretty colors! I fussy cut around the tops of the flowers then popped them up on a Basic White card base.  Thanks for Being So was embossed on Rich Razzleberry and Kind was stamped and fussy cut.  I tucked a little piece of an Old Olive pattern of DSP behind the Kind to help it stamped out a little bit more.  I skipped the Linen Thread on this one, but added more of the Brushed Brass Butterflies.  I love these pretty little embellishments!

I'm not sure what the rest of our day will bring, but I'm going to take advantage of a bit more time in my craft room before my youngest wakes up with plans of some sort of adventure on our day off.

Happy Stamping!

Love You So Much

Now that Christmas and New Years are behind us, I am ready for sunny spring weather and pretty flowers!  Sadly, I know we have a couple more months of wintery weather to come, so I'll have to make do with pretty flowers created in my craft room!

I always love a stamp set with a big sentiment!  The Love For You bundle has a couple of those big sentiments AND dies to cut them out...flowers too!

I stamped So Much Love in Night of Navy and For You in Melon Mambo then pieced them together to say Love You So Much.  It's been a while since I've used Melon Mambo and I forgot how much I love it.

I was going to go with a Night of Navy card base, but it was too dark.  I had a Bermuda Bay card base left over from another project and it ended up being perfect with the other colors.

There are lots of great sentiments with the Love For You stamp set that can be used for several different occasions, so plan on seeing more fun cards made with this bundle soon!

Grow Through What You Go Through

My January-April 2023 Mini Catalog pre-order arrived on Monday and I could not wait to open the box and create!  My box was full of so many fun new stamp sets, dies, paper and embellishments that I wasn't sure where to start.  I finally decided on the AMAZING new Way to Grow stamp set and I was NOT disappointed!  I love any stamp sets that have plants!

I was a little bit overwhelmed by all of the different stamps in this set, but as soon as I started inking them up, it was magical!  This stamp set is so me and creating this card was a true therapy session!

I stated out by stamping the pants in Starry Sky, adding a simple white t-shirt with the upper body stamp.  A cute little cactus in the pot and a Calypso Coral bag reminded me of shopping in my favorite downtown plant shop this summer.
I inked the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder with the Whisper White stamp pad and embossed a piece of Cajun Craze to create a weather brick wall look, just like in the plant shop.  A few more plants were stamped in some of the cute little pots and fussy cut for the perfect placement. I think I used almost every green ink pad I own for the plants!

Can we talk about this sentiment for a minute? This sentiment could not be more true for me and things that I have gone through in life.  You can always find ways to grow through what you go through!

You can be sure you will see more projects made with this stamp set!

Sending SUNSHINE Your Way

Happy Friday friends and welcome to this months TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge!

I finally got back to some of my new pre-order goodies and had some fun with the Delicate Desert Suite.  The winter months are long and dreadful for me, leaving me craving sunshine and warmth.  Since I can't convince my family to move somewhere that's it warm year round, I'm finding sunshine and warmth in the beautiful Delicate Desert DSP.

I chose the pattern that reminds me of the setting sun for the background, adding another die-cut layer of Calypso Coral and Pale Papaya DSP to go along with the sketch.  I stamped each of the flowers in Petal Pink, daubing some Calypso Coral around the edges and center.

I cut the plant and fun aztec design using the Desert Details Dies from one of the Soft Succulent patterns of DSP.  The plant leaves were tucked behind the flowers and the aztec piece was perfect the center the sentiment around.

I pieced a couple sentiments together to make the perfect sentiment...Sending SUNSHINE Your Way!  A few Gold Faceted Sequins were tucked here and there, along with a golden strand of Simply Elegant Trim for just the right amount of shimmer and shine.

This is a great sketch and I hope you all play along with us!

Magical Delicate Desert

Happy Sunday stampers!  I'm taking a little break from Christmas creations to dig in to my January-April 2023 Mini Catalog pre-order.
After I saw Sara and Shelli's OnStage presentation with the beautiful soon-to-be-released Delicate Desert Suite, I knew I had to have it!
I love the frames from the Desert Details Dies...so many ideas are brewing in my mind that I can't wait to get out on paper!  Sara created a fun potted plant for one of her projects and I could not wait to create my own.  I love that you can lift the zig-zags and tuck a sentiment or even snip them out for a totally different look. So many possibilities!

The only stamping on this card is the sentiment, which I heat embossed on a piece of Calypso Coral.  The planter, plant and background are all different patterns from the Delicate Desert DSP.  Isn't it beautiful?!?  And what about those Gold Faceted Sequins???  You are going to want to add this entire suite to your stamp room as soon as possible!

Want to know a fun way to create a quick and easy planter?  The Essential Tag Punch!

I punched the tag out, then cut 1/4" off the top.  After cutting the top off, I trimmed a little bit off each side.  I glued the top piece that I cut off on the top to create the lip of the planter.  So super quick and easy!

As much as I have been loving creating so many Christmas projects, it was so much fun to play with some new products! I can't wait to share more with you soon!

Happy Stamping!
