Beautifully Dainty Carrots

Happy Friday stampers!  It's time for some Sale-A-Bration fun at TGIF Challenges this week!

I had a hard time picking just one of the MANY awesome products, so I decided to do a Sale-A-Bration-Mash-Up!

I started out with the Thanks A Bunch carrots, stamping them in Pumpkin Pie and Blackberry Bliss with Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green tops. After fussy cutting and layering the carrots, I decided they needed a bit more.  My snips came back out and I snipped a few of the dainty blooms from the Dainty Flowers DSP to tuck in along the tops of the carrots.
The sentiments from Thanks A Bunch weren't feeling quite "dainty" enough to go along with my "dainty" theme, so I searched other Sale-a-Bration stamp sets to find the perfect sentiment.  The simple Thank You from Beautifully Happy was just what this card needed!

I mixed couple more patterns of Dainty Flowers for a fresh spring-inspired layout and topped the carrots off with a bow from the County Wreaths dies. One simple Fresh Freesia Opaque Gem was the only embellishment needed!

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you will join along in the fun this week and share your favorite Sale-a-Bration products.

Happy Stamping!

Fun & Fancy Fold ~ Control Freaks Blog Hop

Welcome to the January edition of the Control Freaks Blog Hop!  This month we are getting Fun & Fancy with our folding!  Did you just arrive from Cindy Elam of Hearts Delight Cards or are you just starting the hop?  Either way, make sure to hop along to the very end so you don't miss a single one of the amazing creations!

I couldn't resist putting away the Dainty Flowers DSP without making another card! The card base was created with a pice of DSP, scored and folded to create a Fun & Fancy fold!

A Petal Pink panel was added to hold the beautiful fussy cut bouquet of dainty flowers.  These little flowers are so dainty that I may have held my breath when cutting some of them for fear of cutting one of the leaves of blooms off!  I used the Kind & Sincere stamp set again for the sentiment and will likely use it again very soon.  I love the mixed fonts!  A simple Linen Thread bow and a few Pastel Sequins completed the card.

Thanks for hopping along with us this month.  Next up is Wendy Weixler of Wickedly Wonderful Creations!

Dainty, Kind and Sincere

Happy Monday stampers!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! And to those of us who have the honor of an extra day off on this MLK Jr. Day, I hope your day is filled with something crafty.
I am enjoying a slow, quiet morning with some coffee and cards.  I opened up the beautiful Dainty Flowers DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and paired it up with the Kind & Sincere stamp set.  I love the bright, bold colors of these dainty little flowers!

The first card I kept pretty simple, using the DSP pattern with the pretty oval wreath of flowers.  There are enough of these patterns in the pack to make 12 cards like this...perfect for a card class!  I stamped the Thanks from Kind & Sincere and fussy cut it.  So Very Much was embossed on a piece of Rich Razzleberry and die-cut with Stitched Rectangles.  A Linen Thread faux-bow and a few little Brushed Brass Butterflies finished the card off.

I stepped things up a bit with the next card, fussy cutting the string of flowers from the same pattern of DSP as the oval floral wreath...not wasting one single bit of this DSP!  This time I stamped Congratulations, again in Rich Razzleberry and fussy cutting it out. To You was embossed on Rich Razzleberry and die-cut with the little banner from Stylish Shapes Dies.  Another Linen Thread faux-bow and some butterflies completed this card.

The final card is another beautiful pattern of DSP full of so many pretty colors! I fussy cut around the tops of the flowers then popped them up on a Basic White card base.  Thanks for Being So was embossed on Rich Razzleberry and Kind was stamped and fussy cut.  I tucked a little piece of an Old Olive pattern of DSP behind the Kind to help it stamped out a little bit more.  I skipped the Linen Thread on this one, but added more of the Brushed Brass Butterflies.  I love these pretty little embellishments!

I'm not sure what the rest of our day will bring, but I'm going to take advantage of a bit more time in my craft room before my youngest wakes up with plans of some sort of adventure on our day off.

Happy Stamping!
