Brilliant Butterflies

Welcome to another Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  This week we have some pretty pastel colors for you to create with.

I pulled together several different elements and stamp sets to create this card.  This is what us stampers like to call a $100 card...so many different products used!

I inked the Butterfly Brilliance stamp in Memento then cut them out with the coordinating Brilliant Wings dies.  A bit of Fresh Freesia was added to a smaller butterfly and an intricate Mint Macaron butterfly was tucked behind.  A So Saffron circle brought just the right amount of sunshine.  A few Artist Dies leaves and some itty bitty Peach Dies flowers were scattered about, reminding me of my summer flower garden.
A bit of texture was added with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.  Some Mint Macaron Hand Penned DSP brought everything together, a bold Happiest of Birthdays sentiment and a bit of White Frayed Ribbon finished the card off.

I hope you'll join us in this challenge!  We always love seeing what you create!

Happy Stamping!

Cheerful Birthday Wishes

Happy Thursday stampers!

The Words of Cheer bundle has been getting a lot of use the past few weeks.  I love how versatile this bundle is and that it can be used for more than just Christmas creations!

A dear friend celebrated her birthday over Thanksgiving weekend and I created this card for her husband to give to her.  I haven't made a ton of slimline cards, but after making this one I will certainly be making more!  A Night of Navy card base, a Bark embossed piece of Misty Moonlight and a little bit of Basic White peeking out created a beautiful card front to work with.

I stamped and die-cut the floral image twice, coloring it in shades of Petal Pink, Misty Moonlight, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron.  I brushed the flowers with a little bit of Wink of Stella for the softest shimmer.
I die-cut Happy from a piece of Night of Navy and the Happy background die from a piece of Cork Speciality Paper.  I love the extra detail from the Cork Paper...so much so that I added a few Cork flowers.  I stamped one of the images from Happiest of Birthday's and cut the word Birthday out to add.  I wrapped it all up with a simple Linen Thread bow.

I'm not quite ready to put this beautiful bundle away yet, so be watching for another creation or two before the Christmas season is over.

Happy Stamping!

Happiest Colorful Birthday Wishes

Hello and welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  We are back and can't wait to share our latest creations with you this week!

Last week was our first week back to school and it was a doozy!  The kids all did great and it is SO good to have them back in person!  But...behind the scenes, it was exhausting.  Cheers to a new week and a fresh start.

What's the best way to kick off a new week?!?!  How about a birthday card FULL of fun colors and patterns?!?
The Pattern Party DSP is my absolute favorite!  I am all about black and white patterned paper, but when you add LOADS of fun color on the flip side, my heart just bursts with happiness!
I love anything with black and white stripes, so of course I choose that pattern for the background.  Then I layered some 1" strips of the different bright and cheerful patterns.
I stamped the birthday greeting from Happiest of Birthdays in Memento on Basic White, then fussy cut around the outer edges.  I popped the sentiment up on a few Dimensionals, added a bit of ribbon, twine and Matte Black Dots and this card was done!  Once again, some fun DSP totally made the card!

Thanks for hopping along with us!  I hope your week is off to a great start and you find some time to stamp this week!

Happy Stamping!

Let's Go Camping ~ #GDP298

It's another day of triple digit heat, so that means another afternoon of stamping for this momma!

Today's card was inspired by this weeks Global Design Project Sketch Challenge!

As we prepare to head out for a weekend of camping, this sketch inspired me to ink up Campology once again for a special birthday card.  The trees were perfect for the background of the sketch!

I added a strip of wood-grain DSP from the In Good Taste DSP and a fussy cut heat embossed sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays.  And because I love the lantern so much, I just had to add it!
I added an extra layer of Misty Moonlight Birch (background stamp) and roughed up a corner a little bit.  I love what this adds to a card!
We are packing up and getting ready to head out for a camping trip over the holiday weekend.  I am excited to escape the heat and spend some time by the lake!

Have a great day and, as always, happy stamping!

Art Gallery Birthday Wishes ~ #TGIFC310

It's Friday and that means it's time for an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!
This color challenge is perfect for any of your spring creations.  I recently purchased the Art Gallery bundle and Fine Art Floral DSP, which were just right for this color challenge!
I love this DSP pattern! The texture in this paper is amazing!
I stamped the largest flower in Pool Party, the smaller bloom in Flirty Flamingo and the bundle of blooms in Blushing Bride, with all of the stems stamped in Old Olive.
The Floral Gallery Dies are currently on backorder, so I did have to fussy cut the flowers.  But if you know me, fussy cutting is my calm...so I was happy to snip away!  The sentiment, from Happiest of Birthdays,  was stamped in Flirty Flamingo and die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies.  A few Artistry Blooms sequins and this card is complete!

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful Easter weekend!  It has been a bit crazy around here the past two weeks, but I am headed in to Spring Break, which hopefully means lots of stamping time for me!

Happy Stamping!
