My Artisan Journey

The 2026 Artisan Design Team application period is open...have you applied yet?!?  Don't second guess yourself...take the leap and apply!

My Artisan journey began back in 2013 when the team consisted of only US and Canadian demonstrators.  Back then, you had to send in physical projects to Stampin' Up! and they selected 20 finalists.  I didn't make the final cut that year, but that is where my journey truly began! I met so many amazing people that year, many who are still a huge part of my life today.

I applied every year there after for TEN years. TEN years, friends!  I wanted to give up so many times, but thanks to the encouragement from past Artisan's, I kept trying.  In 2024, my efforts paid off and I was selected to be on the team.  A dream come true!  To be selected for a second year this year seemed unreal, but here we are!

As an Artisan, you receive so many amazing products and have the opportunity to share your creativity with people all around the world...it's so awesome!  But my favorite part of being a part of the team is the community and friendships that are built.

Sure we chat about all things stamping, but there are also so many other conversations about life, kids, work...all the things that build those life long friendships!

Once an Artisan, always an Artisan...this statement couldn't be more true.  It has been so much fun the past two years gathering past and present Artisan's at OnStage events.  This will be something I look forward to every single year from this point forward.

So, if you have ever considered apply for Artisan, do it!  Even if it take you 10 years to make the team, take the leap and apply!

Happy Stamping!

Mixed Media Thank You

Happy Sunday stampers!  I hope you have had a good weekend and have found time be creative! My favorite man in brown (my UPS driver) delivered a box full of new Mini Catalog, Sale-a-Bration and Online Exclusive products on this so I've made lots of time to be creative this weekend.

I can never turn down any stamp set or Designer Series paper that has images that can be colored.  Coloring is true therapy for me, which is why I could not wait to pull out the black and white floral pattern of the Mixed Media Florals DPS!  I took some time before work on Friday to color a section of this beautiful paper, not even knowing what I would use it for.

After going through the other patterns of paper in the pack, I found my next favorite pattern...stripes!  And the tiny hand drawn flowers on black...they are the perfect pair!
This weeks Freshly Made Sketches sketch was the perfect way to use all of the beautiful papers together.
Friends for Life bundle created the perfect sentiment for a sweet friend who deserves a big thank you.  I am beyond blessed to have so many thoughtful and caring friends in my life!

Full of Life

We have a fun Product Challenge over at TGIF Challenges that is full of color and Full of Life!

If you haven't had the chance to play with the Full of Life DSP, don't wait any longer! This paper lives up to it's name...it is so Full of Life!

The Friends For Life bundle coordinates with this DSP perfectly.  The designer of this suite did an amazing job coordinating the products!  The simple sentiments paired up with the die-cut "friend" are the best!

A bright and cheerful birthday card or a sunburst of greens and blues for a thank you...which is your favorite!

If you have the Full of Life DSP, share your creations with us over at TGIF Challenges this week!

Strong Coffee and Short Mondays

It's Monday...and time for an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!

This is my first Monday back to work after my summer break...send all the coffee please!  Here's to hoping my coffee is strong and my Monday is short!

With coffee on my mind, I had some colorful fun with the Latte Love Bundle (available in the Online Exclusives).  If you love coffee, this is the bundle for you!

For my first card, I die-cut and stacked a colorful assortment of coffee mugs.  I pulled in the Friends for Life bundle as well for the perfect sentiment.  And how cute is the A Little Latte DSP?  I LOVE this paper!

Isn't this French press the best? I used the outline of the Friends for Life heart for this coffee-loving birthday card.  I can't wait to send this card to someone special with a gift card to their favorite coffee shop!

Keep on hopping along to see what Charlet has to share with us. You won't be disappointed!

Hi Friend

It's time for a new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge!  Aren't these colors fun?!?

I had some fun with the Friends For Life bundle with this color challenge!

After die-cutting the heart, I randomly stamped HI in Petunia Pop, Daffodil Delight and Summer Splash.  I added one Tuxedo Black Memento HI to coordinate with the die-cut "friend".

There was a little too much empty space on the other side of the heart.  I filled it with a cheerful flower created with the Translucent Florals Dies.  The center of the flower was filled with single Iridescent Faceted Gem. A sweet and simple card that is guaranteed to brighten a friends day!

Thank You For Being A Friend

How often do you thank a friend for being a friend?  I know I don't do it often enough!  Thanks to the Friends for Life bundle, I can send cards to all of my friends to let them know how grateful I am for them!

Playing along with the latest Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge and Global Design Projects color challenge (Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock and Petunia Pop), this was a quick, easy and colorful card to create!
I die cut various patterns of the In Color DSP with the Stylish Shapes circles, adding some coordinating In Color Resin Dots.  The sentiment was super easy thanks to the fun Friends for Life stamps and dies!
Did you make it though this post without singing the Golden Girls theme song?  I bet not!
