Celebrating 39 Years ~ Monday Montage

Hello and Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  I hope you are all enjoying each and every moment this weekend and doing something fun or relaxing...and don't forget stamping!  I know our Monday Montage crew got in some stamping this weekend and we are here to share it with you today!

Today my parents are celebrating their 39th wedding anniversary...Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!  My parents marriage has been a huge inspiration to me and my hubby...they give us so much to look up to!

I pulled out one of my favorite sets for their card...Everything Eleanor.  I {heart} this set!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink ~ Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight Blendabilities
Stamp Set ~ Everything Eleanor, Dictionary
Other Supplies ~ Pearl Basics Jewels, Crochet Trim, Denim Jean Ribbon

The new Blendabilities color beautifully on the pearls...I have found a new obsession!  And can I just say that I am sad to see the Crochet Trim and Denim ribbon go away :-(  These are two of my favorites...but the new ribbon is pretty amazing, so I think I'll live.

Now it's time to hop on over to Cathy's blog for another awesome creation...you're sure to love it!  Or if you prefer to hop backwards, you can head on back to Amy's project...she inspires me each and every week!  Either way, just make sure you make the whole loop and don't miss any of us.  And don't forget to leave us some love on our blogs...we love hearing from you!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Happy Stamping!

2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop ~ Day 3

Hello and welcome back to Day Three of the Artisan Finalist Blog Hop!  Each one of us will be sharing all of our amazing creations that we submitted to Stampin' Up's 2013 Artisan Design Contest.  For the next 7 days you will get to see the talent from an amazing group of women.  Be sure you check back each and every day so you don't miss out on ANY of the projects!  If you get lost along the way, no worries!  Just use the "back" or "next" button at the bottom of each blog and you'll get right back on track.
Today I have a card to share with you.  This card was a little bit out of my comfort zone...I am not a frilly, flowery kind of girl, but part of the reason I decided to enter this contest was to push myself out of that comfort zone and see what I could do.  This card turned out just as I had pictured it in my head and I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
The base of the card is Window Sheet, something that I don't think to use very often for a card.  I need to remember to do this more often!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Window Sheet
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, So Saffron
Stamp Sets ~ Everything Eleanor, Mr. & Mrs.
Other Supplies ~ So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon, Crochet Trim, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, Large Scallop Edgelit

I hope you are all enjoying the projects we have shared with you so far.  Be sure to check back again tomorrow for more of our great creations!

Now hop on over to Cathy's blog to see her first FAB-ulous creation or you can skip on back to Amy's blog to see her AMAZING-ness!

Everything Eleanor Christmas

Hi friends and happy Saturday!  Hope you have all recovered from any Black Friday shopping you may have done yesterday!  I had to work yesterday, so I did my shopping today.  And I'm happy to say that I am almost all done with all of my birthday (for my twins) and Christmas shopping...hooray!!!  Just a few more things that I have to order and I will be DONE!  And a huge bonus...I got home right before nap time for the baby and my hubby and twins were out hunting, so I had a couple of hours to stamp...yay!!!
My crafting partner in crime over at Sweet n Spiffy threw two fun challenges at me late last night, which I quickly accepted without even knowing what I was up against.  We both are making a card using a sketch from Retro Sketches and we are "Mashing up our Creativity with some inspiration over at the Friday Mashup.  Their challenge this week is to create a project using a non-holiday stamp set or image to create a holiday card.  And should you chose, you can mash it up with a messy technique like spritzing, smooching, shimmer painting or splattering with an aquapainter.

It took me a bit to come up with a non-holiday set to create a holiday card, but I finally found just the right one!

Here's my take on the two challenges:

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints DSP
Ink ~ Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Sets ~ Everything Eleanor, Greetings of the Season
Other supplies ~ Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder, Crochet Trim, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz

I lightly sponged the embossed piece of Very Vanilla paper with Crumb Cake ink to give it a little bit of an antique look.  I also spritzed the Very Vanilla paper and flowers with the Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz.  It's hard to see in this picture, but the little bit of shimmer is really pretty.

Well, the baby is up and my hubby and twins are home...guess that means my free time is up!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy Stamping!
