Zany Zoo Crew Celebration

 

Hello and welcome to another Monday Montage Blog Hop!

I am always drawn to any stamp set that has images that can be colored, but when you have coordinating DSP with adorable critters, you skip the coloring and go straight for the fussy cutting!

Zoo Crew DSP has so many fun critters for any occasions!  And the flip side of all of the cute critters are some amazing black and white patterns of DSP...that's a win win in my book! The only stamping is the sentiment.  Talk about quick, easy and cute!

I love this little fox on the scooter, especially when it's trailing a few celebration balloons across a Lemon Lolly sun!

Card # 2 is the same sketch, different critter!  I played along with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  Such a fun sketch!

This adorable alligator is sure to put a smile on your face!

Isn't the Petal Pink and Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon Duo Combo the cutest!  With ribbon this cute, it's certainly going to get used!

For a Special Lady

Today over at TGIF Challenges we are honoring all of the special ladies in our lives. There are so many amazing ladies in my life, but none more amazing than my momma!  

I love this in between season of catalogs where, as a demonstrator, you can mix up old favorites with upcoming new favorites!  I inked up the beautiful Artistically Inked stamp set in new In-Colors, Moody Mauve and Wild Wheat.  These colors are gorgeous, especially when you mix in a little Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow on a Crumb Cake card base.

I am a huge collector of ribbon, but often fail to use it.  Anyone else guilty of this?!?  The new In Color Textured Ribbon will NOT be left sitting on my ribbon rack.  It is so pretty and I will certainly be using all of the colors!

Plentiful Birthday Wishes

Welcome to an all new Control Freaks Blog Hop!  This month we are featuring a super fun sketch and I can not wait to see everyone's projects! Take a peek at the sketch below and hop along to see all of the creative inspiration we have to share.

Wasn't Wendy's card amazing?!?  So much talent!

I've been giving a lot of love to my stamp sets that will soon be retiring and today's sketch was perfect for the Plentiful Plants stamp set!  I am SUPER sad to see this stamp set go.  This is one I will hang on to forever!

I started out by cutting the panels in all different colors, then embossing them with a variety of embossing folders for a lot of awesome texture.

I stamped all of the plants in various shades of green and tucked them in pots to coordinate with the panels. A tiny bit of Frayed Ribbon strands were the only embellishments needed.  I used my favorite go-to Happy Birthday sentiment from Artistically Inked to complete the sketch.

Just Wanted to Say Hi

It's time for an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge!

These colors gave me a fun opportunity to pair up Design a Daydream DSP with Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More Card Pack.  How cute is this sweet puppy?

I started with the inside of an Enjoy the Adventure envelope left over from a previous project and layered from there!  The notebook card got even cuter with the spiral bound die cut from the Blossoming Happiness Dies.  A few circles die cut from Design a Daydream DSP brought in some fun patterns to go along with todays challenge.  I had to add some punched Blackberry Bliss Country Bouquet hearts...because who doesn't love a puppy?!?  Thanks to the super cute Enjoy the Adventure stickers, no stamping was required!

It's always fun to mix and match products from the different catalogs to create such a fun little card!  I can't wait to send this to a friend just to say hi!

Always Here For You

It's time for an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!

Today's card is another #scrapsoffthedesk creation.  I've had these bits and pieces of Awash in Beauty DSP blooms sitting on my desk for a few weeks now.  It was finally time to put them to use!

With a few snips, I cut each bouquet of blooms and placed them around the edges of a piece of Basic White.  A tiny bit of Merry Merlot peeks out between the layers to tie in the simple stamped image.  A few gold sequins were the only dressing up this card required.
