Framed Occasions for Mother's Day

Happy Friday friends!

Welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges Theme Challenge!  This weeks challenge is here just in time for Mother's Day.  Join along in the Mother's Day theme fun!

I had a little fun with more new pre-order products.  Framed Occasions is a great new stamp set that coordinates with the Beautiful Shapes Dies.  I honors of Mother's Day, I used the Daffodil Daydream stamp set.

The petite flowers and leaves from Framed Occasions were inked up in Petal Pink and Mint Macaron, which were layered around some hexagons, diamonds and squares of Design a Daydream DSP.  This beautiful pack of Host DSP is full of so many pretty patterns and images.

Life has been super busy with work, baseball, kiddos, house chores...the list could go on forever!  So, I'm keeping things short and sweet today.

Cup of In Color Tea

Hello and welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  We are back after a little break and can't wait to share our creations with you!

I FINALLY opened my box of pre-order goodies (one of the MANY perks of being a demonstrator!) and I am oh-so-happy with all that I got!  I always love it when the new Annul Catalog comes out and we have fresh new In Color's to play with.  You are going to LOVE how bight and cheerful they are this year!

The Tea Boutique Suite was first on my list because the adorable Tea Boutique DSP includes ALL of the 2022-2024 In Colors!  Check out my cute creation below to see all of the colors in action.

I started out by creating a simple background of cute little flowers in shades of Sweet Sorbet, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis with Parakeet Party leaves. Even the names of the new In Colors are FUN!

You know that I love strips, so the tea cup with stripes was a no-brainer for me.  I stamped it in Sweet Sorbet and filled it with Parakeet Party leaves. The tea tag was stamped in Starry Sky with a bit of Parakeet Party in the background.

The Tea Boutique DSP is FULL of colorful and adorable patterns that are perfect for so many occasions.  I went with the simple Crushed Curry and Orchid Oasis patterns.  I love this color combo!

I finished the card off with a little Tahitian Tide Bakers Twine bow.  I can not tell you how excited I am to have In Color Bakers Twine again!  Only a little while longer before all of these amazing products are available to everyone!

Check out the rest of our Monday Montage hoppers...you won't be disappointed!

Thanks for stopping by today!

I hope to have a few more creations to share throughout the week, so be sure to check back!

How Will I Live Without...

The Control Freaks are back with an all new Blog Hop this month.  We took a short break last month and we are so happy to be hopping along again!  You may have just arrived from Debbie Henderson or you may just be starting. Either way, don't miss a single stop!

This month we are sharing our favorite stamps, dies, embellishments, papers (and so much more) that we just can't live without!  Every time we have to say good bye to retiring products, I can't imagine my stamping life without them. Anyone else feel that way?  I'm here to share a few of my favorite retiring things before they are gone for good.
I am seriously sad that the Sweet Strawberry bundle is retiring.  I love these sweet strawberry images and sentiments.  I love them even more as a pop of color with a Basic Black card base.

I stamped the floral image on a piece of Basic White, coloring the flower in Petal Pink and leaves in Mossy Meadow.  The strawberries were colored in Real Red, with their tops and extra leaves in Mossy Meadow too.  The berries were punched out with the Strawberry Punch and popped up for a little extra dimension.  The simple Thank You sentiment was heat embossed in white on Basic Black with a little strip of  black and white Pattern Party DSP.  It was finished off with a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a little Playful Pets bakers twine.

Next up is another one of my favorites...Tasteful Touches and the coordinating Tasteful Labels Dies.  I love the floral image in this stamp set and the dies...oh, how I will miss them!  I use these dies on almost EVERY card I make!
This card is a case of one of this months Crafty Carrot Collective projects, created by Cindy Schuster...I loved the layout of her project and just had to use it!  I started off by combining two patterns from In Good Taste DSP, adding a diagonal strip of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.  Some flowers, colored in Balmy Blue, and a few Granny Apple Green sprigs were tucked in behind the sentiment, along with a few more gold leaves.  A few Brushed Brass Butterflies finished things off...isn't it pretty?

Next up is Melissa Davies of Rubber Funatics...isn't she amazing?!?!

Thanks for hopping along with us!

Watercolor Birthday Wishes

Welcome to Tuesday and an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge!  Did you see all of the amazing Design Team creations? I always love seeing how different everyone is in the creativity and I can't wait to see what YOU create!

Sometimes it's good to just go back to the basics of paper, ink and stamps...no embellishments, no die-cutting...just good ol' basic stamping!

I inked up the largest circle from Watercolor Shapes in Coastal Cabana, adding some Bermuda Bay crosses to each one.  I was going to stick with all circles, but decided to add a little extra with the Pacific Point squares.

I guess you could say I stepped a little outside of simple stamping with my fussy cut circle and sentiment, but you know fussy cutting is my favorite!  I popped the third Coastal Cabana circle up on some Dimensionals, as well as the Happy Birthday sentiment for a little extra...you know, dimension!

I do hope you'll join along in this weeks challenge and share your creativity with these fun colors!

Sunshine & Rainbows

Welcome to Friday and an all new TGIF Challenges!
I had to get a little creative with this weeks Technique Challenge and create my own mask.  Why in the world do I not have any of the amazing masks?!?!  That's the beauty of some of our punches and dies though...you can make your own!
I used the Cloud Punch to create a simple Balmy Blue cloudy sky background for a cheerful rainbow and sunshine!

I'm using the returning In Colors as much as I can before they are gone.  I am really going to miss Misty Moonlight!  Want to know what else I'm going to miss? The Tasteful Labels dies!  These are probably my most used dies!  Good-bye's are so hard!

I don't know about you, but I am SO happy it's Friday!  I hope you all have a great weekend!
