#tgifc188 Bonus Challenge!!! Anything but a card!

Hello stampin' friends!
Welcome to Friday and an all new TGIF Challenges!  This week we have a fun challenge for you..Anything But a Card.  I can't wait to see all of the awesome projects everyone comes up with!

Today I'm sharing these fun treat boxes I made for our TGIF Design Team 3D swap at OnStage at the beginning of the month.  I also made a few extra's for my awesome roommates in Orlando too.
I paired up the Takeout Treats stamp set and thinlits with the Snowfall Thinlits and Happiness Surrounds stamp set to create the perfect little box for all of my favorite stampy people!  Don't forget, today is the last day to scoop up the beautiful Snowflake Showcase Products.  Trust me...you don't want to miss out on ANY of these products!

Our local candy shoppe sells the most delicious dome truffles, which fit perfectly inside these little boxes!  I cut the front out of each box and used Window Sheet to keep the truffle safely inside.  I wasn't sure how well the boxes or the chocolate would hold up during travel and in the super warm Orlando heat, but they all made it safely and intact!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mint Macaron, Grapefruit Grove, Whisper White, Window Sheet
Ink ~ Mint Macaron, Grapefruit Grove, Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Sets  ~ Happiness Surrounds, Takeout Treats
Other Supplies ~ Snowfall Thinlits, Takeout Treats Thinlits, Faceted Dots, Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Be sure to check out the rest of the design teams fun creations and don't forget to join along in the fun!

Happy Stamping!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop | To You and Yours

Hello happy stampers!  Welcome to another edition of A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!  This month we are sharing alternative projects using the November 2018 To You & Yours Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I absolutely LOVE the plaid paper in this kit!  It is so festive and definitely in style this holiday season!

I've created two alternative projects with the kit...a card and a fun little treat box. I didn't stray too far from the card design, but I did add a few extra layers and embellishments.
I pulled out {and dusted off} my envelope punch board to make this fun little version of a candy wrapper box.  I don't know why I don't use this amazing tool more often!  There are so many creations that can be made with it! I used strips of the Very Vanilla plaid DSP from the kit to dress up the outside of the box.  Using the Cherry Cobbler DSP, the velum and tag from the kit, I had the perfect tag to attach.  Add a few sequins and a bow and the package is complete!

As I said, I didn't stray too far from the original design, but I did add a few more layers and embellishments.  The little bitty flowers from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies and a few sprigs of Wood Grain DSP were the perfect added details to the wreath.  I nestled the sentiment inside the wreath and added a bit of Gold Glimmer paper for just the right amount of bling.
This months kit was absolutely fabulous!  I can't wait to send out cards I've created with this kit to family and friends this holiday season.

Be sure to click on the links below to make you way through the hop.  I can guarantee you will be amazing and inspired by all of the alternative projects that are shared today.

Butterfly Gala for Any Stamper

Happy Monday stamping friends!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!  How many of you braved the Black Friday shopping?  I hope you found some amazing deals amongst all the chaos :-D  We were on the road back home from Council ID on Friday, so there was no shopping for me.  But you can bet that I will be partaking in some Cyber Monday shopping today!  Don't forget you can still save 10% off select stamps and kits in the Annual Catalog through the end of today!

It was absolutely beautiful here this weekend, which made it very hard to stay inside.  I wanted to be outside in the {kind of} warm sun all day, but I did get in some good stamping time on Sunday.  I inked up the new Butterfly Gala stamp set from the upcoming Occasions Catalog and gave #simplestamping a try.  Let me tell you...this is far from simple for me, but something I need to do more often!  I'm loving the black and white with just a splash of color from the Botanical Butterfly DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!
I stepped things up just a bit with my next card for the casual stamper.  I sponged a bit of color onto the butterflies and added a few of the adorable Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
And then for the avid stamper...this is the world I live in!  I always want to add more layers and textures and embellishments!  I used the Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF for some texture, added some leaves with the Leaf Punch and added some sequins and Silver Metallic Thread for a little extra bling.  The heat embossed sentiment was the final touch to tie everything together.  What do you think!

This will be a card I will make at my January Stamp Club, but I will be using the simple stamper card for an upcoming Coffee and Cards class for new customers.  I love that these three types of stamping were the focus at OnStage at the beginning of the month!  It's always a great reminder to go back to the basics to when it comes to customers who are new to stamping.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Botanical Butterfly DSP (SAB)
Ink ~ Memento, Gorgeous Grape, Balmy Blue
Stamp Set ~ Butterfly Gala (2019 Occasions)
Other Supplies ~ Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF, Leaf Punch, Silver Metallic Thread, Butterfly Duet Punch and Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins (2019 Occasions)

Whether you are a simple stamper, a casual stamper or an avid stamper, this is a stamp set you will LOVE!  This Two-Step stamp set and coordinating punch are a must have for any stamper!

Here's to a great week!

Happy Stamping!

Thankful For All The Blessings In My Life

Happy Thanksgiving!

As I was creating this card, I reflected back on all of my blessings this year.  I am truly blessed!
I love that I was able to use several from the Country Home stamp set to create the perfect sentiment for this card!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Ink ~ Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Mango Melody, Blackberry Bliss
Stamp Set ~ Country Home
Other Supplies ~ Tin Tile Dynamic TIEF, Stitched Shapes Framelits

After embossing the Bermuda Bay card stock with the embossing folder, I lightly sponged some Cajun Craze to add a bit of a rustic look, then roughed up the edges with an old pair of paper snips.

At first I was only going to use the "Thankful" piece, but after looking at all of the beautiful sentiments in this stamp set, I pieced together a sentiment that comes straight from my heart.

I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!  For those of you who may be working today, thank you for all that you do!  For those of you who may be away from family, please know I am thinking of you.  For those who are with your family today, I hope you create beautiful memories!

Happy Stamping!

Festive Farmhouse Meets Pretty Pines ~ HSSIC303

It's Tuesday and I'm back with an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge. It may be Thanksgiving week, but we have a beautiful Christmas inspiration challenge for you to play along with.  There are so many different inspirational photos to choose from!  I can't wait to see what everyone is inspired to create.

My December classes are coming up.  I always try to offer some fun last minute gift giving ideas at my December class and these adorable little Santa's Bags will be a big hit!  Stamping them with the Buffalo Check background stamp and adding a festive little tag makes for the perfect little treat bag!
These cute little bags were part of my roommate gifts at OnStage.  They were the perfect size for a small charcoal diffuser and some Wild Orange essential oil for some of my favorite stamping friends.
While I was putting things away after OnStage, I came across some small wood rounds that I had left over from a project and decided they would make a super cute ornament.  Using many of the same supplies I used on the bags, these adorable little ornaments came to life.
I cut out three of the bows using the Pretty Pines thinlits to give a little more fullness and dimension...it's so cute!  The sprigs of pine, little bits of Cherry Cobbler berries, Galvanized Buttons and Striped Burlap Trim all came together for a pretty quick ornament.  I'll be making a few more of these to use as gift tags this year!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Festive Farmhouse DSP
Ink ~ Cherry Cobbler, Gray Granite, Versa Mark
Stamp Set ~ Farmhouse Christmas, Buffalo Check
Other Supplies ~ Pretty Pines Thinlits, Corrugated Dynamic TIEF, Galvanized Buttons, Striped Burlap Trim, Festive Farmhouse Cotton Trim, Gold Metallic Pearls, Gold Metallic Thread

With Thanksgiving just a couple days away, I am beginning to feel the Christmas spirit.  I'm looking forward to stamping more Christmas projects to share with you over the next month.  Be sure to watch for some 2019 Occasions Catalog sneak peaks too!

Happy Stamping!
