Halloween Kitty

Happy Halloween stampers!  Are you ready for a day filled with tricks and treats?!?!  This is the first year that all three of my boys won't be together for Halloween...kind of bitter sweet for this momma.  The older boys will be hanging out at youth group for the evening while my younger boy will be hitting the neighborhood in hopes of a few treats.  I'm hoping to get a picture of them all together, but I'm not sure it will happen.  All part of your kiddos growing up, right?!?
While my twins are "too old" for Halloween stuff, my little guy still likes to get a special "mom" card on holidays :-)  He is my little punch art king, so I thought it would be fun to make a card that he can recreate himself later.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Sparkle Glimmer Paper
Ink ~ Memento
Stamp Set ~ Spooky Sweets
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles Framelits, Cauldron Framelits, Spider Trinkets, Cat Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Twinkle Sequins

I always forget how cute that little cat punch is!  I need to play around with this punch more often and maybe recreate my fat kitty!

I hope you all have a Happy Halloween and maybe end up with a few treats for yourself!

Happy Stamping!

Dashing Deer Thanks ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back once again another fabulous hop for you to enjoy!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...we promise you will love them all!

It's hunting season in our neck of the woods.  My hubby and older boy ventured out last weekend for the boys' special permit hunt.  They were fortunate enough to be able to hunt on some private property of one of my husband's co-workers, Greg, which resulted in a successful hunt for both of them! It was a pretty proud moment for all 3 of them, especially since this was their first successful season.  None of it would have been possible without the permission to hunt where they did or the help from Greg.  My boys asked me to make him a thank you card to send along with a little gift of thanks, which I was more than happy to do.

The Dashing Deer bundle was a must have for me, mainly because of the cute little buck and doe stamps with the coordinating dies.  While this is a Christmas set, it's perfect for anyone who has some hunters in their life too!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Garden Green, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Vellum, Wood Textures DSP
Stamp Set ~ Dashing Deer, Country Road
Ink ~ Garden Green, Sahara Sand, Early Espresso
Other Supplies ~ Detailed Deer Thinlits, 2" Circle Punch, Frosted Bouquet Framelits

Now that the twins are hunting, my hubby didn't do much of his own hunting this year.  We can only eat so much venison in a year!  I'm not sure what we are going to do when our youngest starts hunting too...deer jerky and summer sausage for everyone!

Next stop on the hop is my friend Cathy...I always love all of her awesome creations! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on backwards to the amazingly talented Amy...her stamping style is amazing!  I can't wait to see all of my Monday Montage friends at OnStage in just a little over a week!

Thanks you for stopping by today!

Country Pumpkins

Hello stampin' friends!

I am FINALLY finding a little bit more time for stamping now that my boys aren't playing 7 million sports.  I'll be honest...I love watching my boys play all the sports, but 3 boys and 4 DIFFERENT sports was too much for this momma!  We are down to just my twins playing basketball right now and it feels like a vacation!

I have a card class coming up soon and was trying to come up with a card for Thanksgiving.  Since I don't have the Falling for Leaves bundle, I had to get a little creative with what I already have.  I searched through my stamp sets, but still couldn't decide what to use, so I searched through my DSP instead.  Hello Country Lane DSP!  The patterns with the pumpkins on it were just what I needed to create a pretty and simple Thanksgiving card.  And this sentiment is my favorite...
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White
Ink ~ Cajun Craze
Stamp Set ~ Country Home
Other Supplies ~ Layering Ovals Framelits, Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Braided Linen Trim, Snowfall Thinlits

I love the added texture from the Tin Tile EF!  And the cute little leaves from the Snowfall Thinlits were the perfect addition to the pumpkin!  We'll be making a couple cards with the Snowflake Showcase products, so this will be the perfect way to show another use of these beautiful dies!

I hope you all have a fantastic day!  The weekend is almost here...what do you have planned?!?

Awesome Kids

Happy Sunday stampers!  I hope you have had a great weekend so far.  I know ours has been pretty great! My youngest and I spent lots of time at our annual Balloon Stampede, which was so much fun!  We took in the Nite Glow on Friday night, then got up early Saturday morning to watch the launch and chased a few balloons to watch them land.  It is truly a magical time in our little town!

While we were out chasing balloons, my hubby and twins were out on their own hunting adventure.  They've had a successful hunt so far...one down, one to go. I'm anxiously awaiting a phone call or text to let me know how their morning hunt has gone.

My kids are all pretty freaking awesome and I love seeing all that they can do!  The continue to amaze me every single day.  But, as with any child, they do sometimes give us a run for our money and cause us to question our parenting abilities from time to time.  Middle school has been a trying time for all of us, but we are working our way through it and all learning so much from each other.  One of our kiddos has had a few struggles lately, so I wanted to make him a special little card to leave for him when he least expects it.  Treehouse Adventure is the perfect stamp set for a fun and encouraging card for any kiddo!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Mango Melody, Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade
Ink ~ Mango Melody, Blueberry Bushel, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Memento
Stamp Set ~ Treehouse Adventure

We have another beautiful day before us.  I have so many stamping projects to work on, but I want to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather we have before it's gone.  Decisions, decisions...

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have a beautiful day!

Happy Stamping!
