Vacation Brain and a Day at the Zoo

I have a serious case of Vacation Brain...I have no idea what the date is or what day it is.  But guess what?  This just means that I have been able to leave work behind and not really worry about anything else except spending time with my family and having FUN!  But since I've been so messed up with knowing what day it is, I missed my MDS Download Tuesday.  But I didn't forget to play with MDS or check out the NEW MDS Digital Downloads while I've been gone!  Be sure to visit my Online Store to see the AWESOME new downloads for this week!

I do have another fun page to share with you this week too!  On our way to the Oregon Coast, we stopped off at the Oregon Zoo.  I LOVE the zoo and all of the animals!  It was pretty hot while were there, so we didn't get to see the animals up and about...most of them were in the shade trying to stay cool.  And we were all super sad that we didn't get to see the polar bears...they are our FAVORITES!  It was still a fun visit and we still got to see some really cool animals.  Take a look at some of them!

Filling the punches with pictures was a new Simply My Digital Studio Challenge this week.  This is such a fun and EASY way to use the punches!

Once again, I LOVE how quickly this page came together.  I am sure to have a full photo book to give to my boys for Christmas this year!

Be sure to stop back by tonight for Day Six of the 2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop!

Happy Stamping!

2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop ~ Day 5

Hello to all my stamping friends and welcome to Day Five of the Artisan Finalist Blog Hop!  I hope you are all loving the amazing creations that we submitted to Stampin' Up's 2013 Artisan Design Contest.  For the next 5 days you will get to see the talent from an amazing group.  We are half way though showing you all of our projects and I continue to be amazed each and every day!  This group of ladies is full of awesome-sauce!

Be sure you check back each and every day so you don't miss out on ANY of the projects!  If you've just come from Amy's blog, you were treated to her amazing talent.  If you are just getting started, keep on hopping until you get back to me. If you happen to get lost along the way, just use the "back" or "next" button at the bottom of each blog and you'll get right back on track.

Today I have my second scrapbook page to share with you.  This is the page that had me in tears when I saw it at Convention...seeing my sweet boy brought out all of the {many} emotions that had been brewing in the weeks leading up to Convention.
This page was created in MDS using the On the Go download.  All of the pictures are from Owen's first year of life.  It was a lot of fun remembering each and every picture as I put this page together.  And since this was done in MDS, I have my own copyhanging up in my craft room :-)

This picture isn't great and you can't see the journaling very well...it says "With a smile that lights up a room and dimples that never end...Happy 1st Birthday to my sweet blue eyed boy"

Thanks for stopping by today!

Now it's time to hop on over to Cathy's blog to see her first FAB-ulous creation!

I'm back today with another card.  If I remember right, this was a card I made for one of the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenges, but never posted with them because I decided to use it as one of my entries. The Swallowtail stamp is, by far, one of my favorite stamps EVER!  I love how it turned out when I embossed it in Pool Party on the Epic Day This and That DSP.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Pool Party, Epic Day This and That DSP
Ink ~ VersaMark
Stamp Sets ~ Swallowtail, One in a Million
Other Supplies ~ Boho Blossoms Punch, Vintage Trinkets, Calypso Coral Bakers Twine, Epic Day This and That Washi Tape, Pop-Up Posies Kit

2013 Artisan Finalist Blog Hop ~ Day 3

Hello and welcome back to Day Three of the Artisan Finalist Blog Hop!  Each one of us will be sharing all of our amazing creations that we submitted to Stampin' Up's 2013 Artisan Design Contest.  For the next 7 days you will get to see the talent from an amazing group of women.  Be sure you check back each and every day so you don't miss out on ANY of the projects!  If you get lost along the way, no worries!  Just use the "back" or "next" button at the bottom of each blog and you'll get right back on track.
Today I have a card to share with you.  This card was a little bit out of my comfort zone...I am not a frilly, flowery kind of girl, but part of the reason I decided to enter this contest was to push myself out of that comfort zone and see what I could do.  This card turned out just as I had pictured it in my head and I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
The base of the card is Window Sheet, something that I don't think to use very often for a card.  I need to remember to do this more often!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, Window Sheet
Ink ~ Night of Navy, Baja Breeze, So Saffron
Stamp Sets ~ Everything Eleanor, Mr. & Mrs.
Other Supplies ~ So Saffron Taffeta Ribbon, Crochet Trim, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, Large Scallop Edgelit

I hope you are all enjoying the projects we have shared with you so far.  Be sure to check back again tomorrow for more of our great creations!

Now hop on over to Cathy's blog to see her first FAB-ulous creation or you can skip on back to Amy's blog to see her AMAZING-ness!
