Colorful Perennial Birthday ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!  You won't want to miss a single creation from this amazing group of stampers!

My boys' social calendar seems to fill up quicker and quicker with each passing week!  They had a bonfire party with their youth group on Saturday, followed by a birthday party at the corn maze on Sunday.  The birthday party was for two girls - EEK! - so I had to come up with a couple of cards for those sweet girls.  Being the boy mom that I am, I haven't had to make many girl cards over the years, but I have a feeling a lot more will be in my future!

Perennial Birthday was the perfect stamp set for some fun teenage, girl friendly cards.  I went for bright and cheerful colors on both cards, but went with two totally different designs.

You know how much I love my Stampin' Blends, right? I'm on the verge of being addicted! LOL!  It was fun to add some color to the cute little flower images in this stamp set.  And who doesn't love black and white stripes?!?  So good with the colorful flowers!
For the next card, I traded in my Stampin' Blends for the Stampin' Write Markers.  After stamping the Happy Birthday sentiment in a rainbow of colors, with the help of my trusty Stamparatus, I used the makers to ink up the "Here's to Celebrating You!" sentiment.  Using the Stampin' Write Markers to ink up any stamp is so much fun and a great technique to share with your customers.
See?!?!  Isn't this FUN?!?!
It love to use the same colors and same stamp set to create two totally different cards.  Another great thing to share with your customers!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody
Ink ~ Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, Memento
Stamp Set ~ Perennial Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Layering Circles, Silver Metallic Thread

RAWRsome #TGIFC220 Sketch Challenge

It's Friday!  And we all know what that means...time for an all new TGIF Challenges!  This week we have a sketch for you to play along with and we can't wait to see what you create!

When I first saw the sketch, I was going to go with flowers, but after I got my box of new stamps and supplies, I knew I had to use the RAWRsome new Dino Days stamp set!
The Crackle Paint background stamp went along perfectly with the egg pattern Dinoroar DSP!  Keeping with the cracked egg theme, I had the fun little diner jumping out of the egg with Happy Birthday wishes!

I love ALL of the colors in the Dinoroar Suite!  They are fun for boys and girls and just so darn cheerful!
I still haven't put this stamp set away, so be watching for a couple more cards created with this RAWRsome suite!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Prety Peacock, Pineapple Punch, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Dinoroar DSP
Ink ~ Pretty Peacock, Lovely Lipstick, Pool Party, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Pineapple Punch
Stamp Sets ~ Dino Days, Perennial Birthday, Broadway Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Dino Dies, Dinoroar Enamel Dies

Don't forget to join in the fun and play along with this week's sketch!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Simple Saturday Birthday

Happy Saturday stampin' friends!  We are in between baseball games, so we snuck home for a bite to eat and I even got in a little stamping.  I knew I would be short on time, so I keep things simple today with some fun new colors!

I think one of my favorite new colors is Granny Apple Green!  It's so bright and cheerful!  It pairs up perfectly with one of our new colors, Lovely Lipstick.  Add in a little splash of Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam and you have a great color combo!
I added just a bit of texture with a Layered Leaves embossed piece of Granny Apple Green and a little splash of Lovely Lipstick behind my Happy Birthday sentiment.  Not too much, but just enough to brighten things up a bit.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick
Ink ~ Granny Apple Green, Lovely Lipstick, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam
Stamp Set ~ Perennial Birthday
Other Supplies ~ Layerd Leaves Textured Embossing Folder

I might have time to sneak in one more card before we head back to the ballfield for Aidan and Hunter's game.  Their team is in the running for 1st place, so it should be a good one!

Have a great day!

Happy Stamping!
