Mediterranean Kindness

We're kicking off the New Year with an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge and we hope you'll join in the fun!

I pulled out the Mediterranean Blooms DSP to play along with the challenge.  The blues in this paper were meant for this!

I cut a few different partners of DSP in strips, placing them on top of a Basic White card front embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.

I die cut You're Too Kind from Silver Foil with a Night of Navy background.  A few Basic White Citrus Blooms dies leaves helped to make the sentiment pop just a bit.

I pulled a few strands of silver threads from the Gold & Silver Trim Combo Pack to bring in just a touch more silver.  Such a classy color combo!

Best.Friend.Ever

It's time for this weeks TGIF Challenges Inspiration Challenge.  There are so many inspiring options to choose from...the layout, the colors, the florals, a friendship sentiment...the possibilities are endless!

I went with the layout and the friendship sentiment.  Using the awesome Citrus Blooms leafy boarder die, I created a pretty frame for the bright and cheerful lemons.

A little background texture was adding using the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder.  A sweet and simple sentiment from Country Flowers was just right for this weeks challenge.  The sentiment was heat embossed on Night of Navy with a little bit of Mediterranean Blooms DSP peeking out from behind. 

A sweet little bakers twine bow and Dots for Days were the perfect finishing touches.
