Flowering Birthday Wishes ~ Monday Montage

Happy Monday and welcome to an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!

It was a chilly, but sunny weekend here and I have a bad case of spring fever!  It's a bit too early to start digging in the dirt, but I did spend some time mapping out my flower garden while I wait a few more weeks for things to warm up.  While I wait, I'll keep on playing with paper flowers!
I started out by creating a lattice white on white background, adding a bright pop of color with the Coastal Cabana boots and Polished Pink tulips.  And since I love the watering can image so much, it just had to be added too!  See the little Pebbles Enamel Shapes underneath?  I love these embellishments!

In true Craft-somnia fashion, a Sweet (Strawberry) Happy Birthday sentiment was heat embossed in white on Basic Black and fussy cut.   A few Artistry Blooms sequins added just a bit more color to finish off this sweet and simple card!

Live Life in Full Bloom ~ Monday Montage

Welcome to another fabulous Monday Montage Blog Hop!  This hop is sure to be full of amazing creations, so don't miss a single stop!

We had an absolutely beautiful day today that left me with a massive case of spring fever!  I know we have a good chance of snow yet this month, but I am more than ready to get out in my garden to dig in the dirt.

While I patiently wait for the ground to warm up, I'm happy creating a little spring in my craft room!

Inspired by my own spring flowers beginning to peek out of the cold winter ground, I stamped and die cut some of the pretty little tulips from the Flower Rain Boots stamp set and coordinating Rain Boots dies.

I stamped tulips in shades of Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade and Highland Heather, placing them on Granny Apple Green stems.  I tucked some of the tulips into a Cinnamon Cider pot.  Check out how I snipped the top of the pot to tuck those tulips in!

I added a couple of stacked up pots that have toppled over.  Why you might ask?  Because when you have 5 doggies in your home, it's bound that they will knock over a flower pot or two each year with all of their crazy antics!

And can we talk about these adorable Pebbles Enamel Shapes?!?  After creating this card, it is clear that I am going to need MANY more of these!  I love what they add to this card.

I can't wait to tear in to my seed packs in the next month or so and get them sowed into the ground.  It will be another wait to see the beautiful blooms, but always so worth it!

Cathy is up next or you can hop back to Wendy.  Either way, make your way all the way through!

Rain Boots and Tulips ~ #TGIFC350

Happy Friday stampers and welcome to an all new TGIF Challenges!

We have an all new Color Challenge for you to play along with...and the chance to be a guest designer at TGIF Challenges!  Check out this weeks post for all the details!

It has been a wild winter weather week here that has me longing for warmer spring weather and flowers.  The Flowering Rainbows bundle helped me bring a little warmth and cheerfulness into my craft room .

Working with this color challenge had me digging through my DSP, looking for something that would work with these colors.  I had just enough of this In Good Taste pattern to create a fun background for some Night of Navy boots and Blushing Bride Tulips.  The DSP was die-cut with the Stitched Rectangle dies with a smaller Basic White Stitched Rectangle to break the DSP pattern up just a bit.

A bit of Gold Metallic Specialty paper was die-cut with the intricate diamond pattern die to pull in just the right amount of gold for the color challenge.  A couple Brushed Brass Butterflies were added for just a bit more shimmer.

The beautiful sentiment was heat embossed on Blushing Bride, die-cut with my favorite Tasteful Labels dies.  The Night of Navy card base was embossed with the awesome new Gingham embossing folder...be prepared see a lot of this folder!

I'm hoping these rain boots and flowers will bring some warmer weather, allowing me to trade in my snow boots for my rain boots.  In the meantime, I'll keep on enjoying time in my warm cozy craft room.

Happy Stamping!

Rain or Shine

...or should I say SNOW or shine?!?  We are on day 3 of snow, snow, snow!  Thankfully we are all still on winter break and if the weather man is correct, warmer temps are on the way at the beginning of next week.  Hopefully this means no school closures due to snow...fingers crossed!

While it continues to dump snow, I'm dreaming of spring flowers!

If you love flowers and gardening as much as I do, you'll want to add the the Flowering Rain Boots Bundle to your January-June 2022 Mini Catalog wish list.  Only a few more days and this catalog will be live and ready for you to shop!

While you wait, I'll share this cheerful little card!  With the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set, I stamped a few of the flower pots in Misty Moonlight, filling them with Blushing Bride Tulips and So Saffron daisies.  The watering can was stamped in Smoky Slate and the cute little seed packet was stamped in Mint Macaron.  All of these bits and pieces were all die cut with the coordinating Rain Boots Dies.

These Mint Macaron stripes from the Hand-Penned DSP went along beautifully with all of the stamped and die-cut images.   The DSP and a panel of Basic White were cut out with the Stitched Rectangles for just the right amount of texture.  The raindrops from the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials embellishments were the perfect final touch!

Oh, and I can't forget the heat embossed and fussy cut sentiment.  Is this becoming my signature piece for every card I make?!?!

I've finished putting away all of my Christmas decorations, cleaned the house and shoveled snow several times...I think I deserve some more stamping time!

Happy Stamping friends!
