Love Makes Us Family

Hello stampers!
As I wrap up my final week of the school year from home, I'm able to sneak in a little more stamping time...YAY!!!  Just a few more days and we will all be on summer break, which means even more stamping time!
I did get a little stamping break today to join in the latest Stampin' Through The Catalog Challenge, using the lovely new Lovely You stamp set.
I just love these fun little floral and leave stamps...they are so cheerful and happy!  I inked up the flowers and leaves in a rainbow of colors, fussy cutting a few to tuck behind the sentiment.
The coordinating Lovely Labels Pick a Punch is just as lovely as it sounds.  You can create fun labels in 6 different sizes, in any length that you want.  I love being able to layer two different sizes of labels for the sentiment.
Speaking of sentiments...isn't this one just the BEST?!?  Love really is what makes all of us family!  The sentiments this stamp set are all so perfect!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Mango Melody, Whisper White
Ink ~ Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, Pear Pizzazz, Bermuda Bay
Stamp Set ~ Lovely You
Other Supplies ~ Lovely Labels Pick a Punch

I didn't put this stamp set away after I created this card...I kept on stamping.  Be sure to check back soon for a look at what else I created with it!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Happy Stamping!

Sneak Peek Control Freak Style

Welcome to an all new Control Freaks Blog Hop!  You may just be getting started or you may have arrived here from Connie Babbert's blog...didn't you LOVE what she created?!?! We are back and ready to share some awesome Pre-Order creations with all of you!

I really wanted to order ALL the things on the Pre-Order, but I managed to have a little bit of control and only ordered half of them. LOL!
World of Good and In Good Taste Suites caught my eye as soon as I saw the new catalog, so I was SUPER excited to see them both on the Pre-Order!

Okay...you are ALL going to want the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  It is so GORGEOUS!  The visual textures in this paper is absolutely AMAZING!  I CASE'd a couple different cards in the catalog to create this card.  I cut out several different patterns of DSP using one of the stitched Tasteful Labels Dies and adhered them in a tile-like pattern.  Next, I stamped two of the beautiful flowers from Tasteful Touches stamp set, colored them in Rocco Rose and fussy cut them out.  I added a few background stamps, along with some Linen Thread and In Good Taste Elements to complete the card.  I love the colorful flowers against the neutral tiles.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Gray Granite, Whisper White, In Good Taste DSP
Ink ~ Gray Granite, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Rocco Rose, Mango Melody
Stamp Set ~ Tasteful Touches
Other Supplies ~ In Good Taste Elements, Linen Thread, Tasteful Labels Dies

I was so drawn to World of Good Suite...I love all of the colors, textures and images. This suite will be perfect for creating cards and scrapbook pages filled with travel memories.
In an effort to make the best of the current circumstances for so many seniors, I've been making lots of graduation cards.  The Beautiful World are not only good for travel, but for graduates and new beginnings as well!  I broke out my Aqua Painters and painted the world...in bright and cheerful colors.  I used the same colors, Crushed Curry, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick, Coastal Cabana and Old Olive to stamp a fun background, and added a few splatters as well. I heat embossed the sentiment in white, which I fussy cut, of course!  I topped the world off with a fun little graduation cap.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Watercolor
Ink ~ VersaMark, Crushed Curry, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick, Coastal Cabana, Old Olive
Stamp Set ~ Beautiful World
Other Supplies ~ World Map Dies, Whisper White Bakers Twine, Black Embossing Powder

I was inspired by this amazing card (below) created by our very own Stampin' Up! Concept Artist, Kaitlyn Zumbach. I LOVE this creation and just had to CASE it.

Thank you for joining us this month!  Be sure to make your way through the entire tour...you won't want to miss a thing!
Next up is the talented Connie Tumm...I love what she has shared with us!

Ornate Appreciation

Happy Monday friends!  With all of the chaos that surrounds us right now, I have some happiness to share with you today.  Beginning on April 1st, Stamping' Up! will be launching the early release of the beautiful Ornate Gardens Suite, which will be featured in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  The timing of this release could not be more perfect!  The Ornate Thanks stamp set has the BEST sentiments to send words of encouragement and gratitude out to those who need it right now!
Our school district begins our "Distance Learning" program this week and we will be picking up packets from our boys' schools.  These cards will be hand delivered to the staff at their schools as a thank you for all of the hard work they have put in to our kids, even when they aren't in the building.  Staff has spent countless hours preparing packets and Google Classroom sessions for our kids, and will continue to do this for at least the next 6 weeks, possibly longer.
Of course I had to add the Ornate Style stamp set to my collection!  Any stamp set that has images that I can color with my Stampin' Blends is a must have for me!

And let's talk about this beautiful Ornate Garden Specialty DSP...it is absolutely GORGEOUS!  These flowers...yep, it's DSP that I have colored and fussy cut out to create this beautiful thank you card.  I plan to sit down and color an entire sheet of this DSP while my boys work on their school work.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Ornate Garden Speciality DSP, Vellum
Ink ~ VersaMark, Memento, Stampin' Blends:  Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, Petal Pink, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron, Mint Macaron
Stamp Sets ~ Ornate Style, Ornate Thanks
Other Supplies ~ Gold Embossing Powder

Things are certainly different in our world right now, but rather than focusing on the bad, I am choosing to find the good in everything that we do.  I am using some of my extra time to make more cards to send to our schools and to the teachers that I work directly with.  They are missing our kids so much and need to know just how much they are appreciated.

Happy Stamping!
