Sale-A-Brate the Season

We are Sale-a-Brating over at TGIF Challenges this week and sharing some of our favorite Sale-A-Bration products!  

There are so many awesome products in the January-February Sale-A-Bration offering this year!  I couldn't resist the super cute Pick A Season stamp set.  It's perfect for all of your spring-time creations!

I stamped the tree leaves in Granny Apple Green and filled the tree full of Petunia Pop flowers. Doesn't it just make you happy!

A few clouds fill the sky and a cute little picket fence peeks out from behind the tree.  The sweet sentiment from Heart Shaped was the perfect addition to complete this simple card.

Freshly Made Birthday Celebration

It's a Birthday Celebration kind of day...make a wish! 

January and February are full of birthdays to celebrate, so I've been busy making lots of birthday cards!

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches design helped to create two pretty birthday cards for two equally beautiful women in my life!

Using a few different patterns of Wildflower Birthday DSP, this sweet banner card came together with ease.  A little bit of fussy cutting required for all the bits and pieces, but so worth it!

The birthday cake die cut image, also included in the Wildflower Birthday DSP steals the show for this next card.  A few more fussy cut elements and a golden Make a Wish sentiment were the perfect final touches!

These cards are in their respective envelopes and on their way to the birthday girls.  I hope they bring a little happiness to their special day!

Bee Mine

This Tuesday brings us an all new Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge!

I am absolutely loving the new color release of the Cute As Can Bee Designer Series Paper. These little bees are as sweet as can be!

I stamped the hearts to go along with the sketch design then brought in a couple fussy cut bumble bees. Some buzzy little loops were stamped in Pool Party and the Bee Mine sentiment was stamped in Petunia Pop on a little strip of Bubble Bath.

I love the striped pattern peeking out from the edges.  All of the patterns together are so much fun!

Handmade Hugs

Rules for art...there are no rules!  This weeks TGIF Challenges Theme Challenge is a fun one!  You have complete freedom to create what ever you want!

It has been forever since I have created anything with the Crafting With You stamp set and coordinating dies.  The easel in the photo inspired me to pull this bundle out to create a cheerful and fun-loving card.

I die cut the paper trimmer and added a cute hand stamped piece of paper to the trimmer.  Did you notice I added both the cutting and scoring blades?!?  And since I love to fussy cut so much, I had to add the little pair of Paper Snips too!

I've had this piece of Friends of the Ocean DSP sitting on my desk since my card class earlier in the month.  It added the perfect pop of extra color and goes along so well with one of my all time favorite colors, Coastal Cabana.

Mixed Media Thank You

 Happy Sunday stampers!  I hope you have had a good weekend and have found time be creative! My favorite man in brown (my UPS driver) delivered a box full of new Mini Catalog, Sale-a-Bration and Online Exclusive products on this so I've made lots of time to be creative this weekend. 

I can never turn down any stamp set or Designer Series paper that has images that can be colored.  Coloring is true therapy for me, which is why I could not wait to pull out the black and white floral pattern of the Mixed Media Florals DPS!  I took some time before work on Friday to color a section of this beautiful paper, not even knowing what I would use it for.

After going through the other patterns of paper in the pack, I found my next favorite pattern...stripes!  And the tiny hand drawn flowers on black...they are the perfect pair!

This weeks Freshly Made Sketches sketch was the perfect way to use all of the beautiful papers together.

Friends for Life bundle created the perfect sentiment for a sweet friend who deserves a big thank you.  I am beyond blessed to have so many thoughtful and caring friends in my life!
