Under the Sea

Welcome to the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge!  This challenge is full of beautiful sand and sea inspiration for all of you to play along with!

I pulled out every sand and sea stamp set I own for this card! Seaside Wishes, Beauty of the Deep and Sea Turtle all came together for a fun under-the-sea creation.

I created a watercolor ocean background using Balmy Blue and Blueberry Bushel with a few Pretty Peacock splatters.  I stamped the sea pebbles in Pebbled Path Along the bottom of the ocean floor.

A Sea Turtle was stamped in Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty Peacock.  Some Beauty of the Deep coral was die-cut in Pretty Peacock with some Lemon Lime Twist Seaside Wishes Hybrid seaweed woven through.  Basic Beige is my favorite sand dollar color, especially with a Peach Pie and Moody Mauve starfish!

Oh Happy Day

Oh Happy Day, it's time for another Monday Montage Blog Hop!

This week I'm having some fun with the Round We Go bundle!  These cheerful little rosettes are guaranteed to make anyone happy!

I stamped the rosettes in Melon Mambo, Misty Moonlight and Lemon Lime Twist before die-cutting them with the coordinating Round We Go Dies. I love that you can die-cut and pop up the middle of the rosettes for a little added fun!

I finally gave the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid dies and embossing folder a try for the sentiment. These things are awesome!

And don't forget the inside...it's always a fun surprise to open up the card and find a little more love!

Keep on hopping over to my friend Cheryl to see what she has to share with us this week!

Sunshine & Rainbows

Woohoo!  It's Friday and we all know what that means! Time for a new TGIF Challenges Technique Challenge!  This week's challenge is taking me back to my early days of stamping.  It has been FOREVER since I did anything with the chalkboard technique!

I kept my chalkboard piece on the smaller side and pretty simple.  I stamped this sentiment from the Kindest Expressions stamp set in Whisper White craft in and heat embossed it in white.  I used the embossing buddy to add a little chalk dust and added a little Whisper White splatter.

To go along with the sentiment, I used my favorite new die from the Friends for Life dies to create a fun rainbow background.  The fun sunburst image from Light the Sky stamp set was the perfect stamped image to play along!

I hope your weekend is full of sunshine and rainbows and a whole lot of stamping!

Sending a Big Hug

It's Friday and you know what that means...an all new TGIF Challenges!  This week we have a fun sketch for you to play along with.  Keep it clean and simple or dress it up...either way, we can't see what everyone is inspired to create!

I opted for a clean and simple card today.  I'm wrapping up the end of my school year, so I need all the simple I can get in my life right now!  These cute sea lions from Hearts & Hugs were just begging to be colored.  Don't you just want to hug them?

I blended and splattered a little Summer Splash and stamped some Petunia Pop behind these love {sea}lions.  The banner die from the coordinating dies went along with the sketch perfectly.  Since it was a shorter sentiment, I popped the middle of the banner up.  And for good measure, I added a few Petunia Pop paper hearts.

I'll be sending this big hug out to someone soon!

Thank You For Being A Friend

How often do you thank a friend for being a friend?  I know I don't do it often enough!  Thanks to the Friends for Life bundle, I can send cards to all of my friends to let them know how grateful I am for them!

Playing along with the latest Freshly Made Sketches sketch challenge and Global Design Projects color challenge (Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock and Petunia Pop), this was a quick, easy and colorful card to create!
I die cut various patterns of the In Color DSP with the Stylish Shapes circles, adding some coordinating In Color Resin Dots.  The sentiment was super easy thanks to the fun Friends for Life stamps and dies!
Did you make it though this post without singing the Golden Girls theme song?  I bet not!
