All Kinds of Amazing

Ready or not, it's back to school time. I am savoring every last minute of my summer break before I return to work on Monday.  Boo!  Ready or not, it's time to kick off a new school year and this weeks TGIF Challenges Sketch Challenge was a perfect for a 1st day of school card.

If you haven't guessed by all of my latest creations, Delightfully Eclectic DSP is my favorite pack of paper!  The notebook pattern is so much fun, especially with the Gorgeously Made notebook edge die.

I used 4 different stamp sets for all of the images...can you figure out which ones?  Everyday Thanks for the pencil, Bird's Eye Vies for the books, Sweetest Cherries for the apple and Phrases for All for the sentiment.  In addition to the Gorgeously Made dies, I used Nested Essentials, Stylish Shapes and Beautiful Balloons dies as well.  This, my friends, is what us stampers like to call the $100 card!  If you have them, use them is my motto!

Whether you have already stared or will soon be headed back to school, here's to an amazing 2023-2024 school year!

Happy Stamping!

Never Grow Up

Hello friends and welcome to the August edition of Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop!  I am beyond excited to join this talented group of stampers from all around the world!

This month's theme is Never Grow Up, which seems very fitting for me as my oldest boys are preparing to enter their senior year of high school and my youngest is entering middle school.  I'm not quite ready for these big milestones and am wishing they would never grow up!

As a mom of 3 boys, our house was always full of trucks, trucks and more trucks.  I couldn't resist the super cute Construction Zone stamp set, especially since it is full of the cutest images to color!

I colored the cement truck, crane and construction worker in a rainbow of bright colors. Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce and Azure Afternoon...all colors that remind me of childhood.  Each image was fussy cut and popped up on a fun Birthday Zone background, complete with construction cones and gifts. You can't have construction vehicles without diamond plate, right?  The Metal Plate 3D embossing folder was the perfect way to add some texture!

Next up is the amazing Lori Willcox!

Sweet Summer Treats

I'm not ready for summer to end and the Hand Stamped Sentiments isn't either!  We are holding on to the last bit of summer with a sweet and refreshing Inspiration Challenge for you to play along with this week!

I was inspired by the ice cream photo and had some fun creating my own Lemon Lolly ice cream cones!  I stamped the scoops of ice cream from Share a Milkshake in Lemon Lolly onto a Pecan Pie cone with the cutest little So Refreshing lemon tucked into each scoop.

I created my own DSP by stamping the lemons from So Refreshing in Lemon Lolly with Granny Apple Green leaves. So cute!  The only thing left was a sweet sentiment stamped in Granny Apple Green.  Sweet, simple and so refreshing!

I hope you'll join along in the fun and share what you were inspired to create.

Time for a Celebration

We made it to Friday and we all know what that means...time for an all new TGIF Challenges Color Challenge!

This is such a cheerful color combo that was meant for a celebration!  The Beautiful Balloons Bundle was perfect for this color challenge!

I stamped the balloons in Blueberry Bushel, Lemon Lime Twist and Bubble Bath, cutting them out with the coordinating dies.  I added a soft Bubble Bath background with the Blending Brush, along with a few splatters with the Stampin' Write Marker.

I always love white on white, but this card needed a little more color.  Some simple strips of paper to go along with the color challenge gave just the right amount of extra color!

I hope you'll join along in our colorful fun this week!

Gorgeously Made Meets Earthen Elegance

When Gorgeously Made bundle meets Earthen Elegance DSP you end up with a gorgeously earthen card filled with texture and warm, earthy colors!

Inspiration for this card came from this weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge. Boho Blue, Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path...all new In Colors and they are so good together!
You might also notice a few Fresh as a Daisy DSP patterns mixed in.  I love it when you can make so many of the amazing products work together!  I die cut two of the Gorgeously Made foliage pieces from Boho Blue and Wild Wheat, tucking a little tattered notebook piece stamped with various images in all of the colors.

A simple Thank You sentiment, a bit of the Wild Wheat Textured Ribbon and a few Pebbled Path In Color Dots were the perfect final touches.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with another fun color challenge...stay tuned!

Happy Stamping!
