Always Here For You

It's time for an all new Monday Montage Blog Hop!

Today's card is another #scrapsoffthedesk creation.  I've had these bits and pieces of Awash in Beauty DSP blooms sitting on my desk for a few weeks now.  It was finally time to put them to use!

With a few snips, I cut each bouquet of blooms and placed them around the edges of a piece of Basic White.  A tiny bit of Merry Merlot peeks out between the layers to tie in the simple stamped image.  A few gold sequins were the only dressing up this card required.

Sending a Rainbow of Birthday Wishes

We made it to Friday and another fabulous TGIF Challenges!  This week we have a funs sketch for you to play along with!

Not only did I use the sketch for inspiration, but I used the beautiful rainbow of colors as well!

I stamped a variety of Sending Smiles flowers in shades of Polished Pink, Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Starry Sky.  The stems were stamped in my favorite Granny Apple Green!

I pulled the die cut Sending out of my scrap pile to add to the Birthday Wishes, which I heat embossed on Starry Sky.  A simple white Baker's Twine bow and a few of my beloved Brushed Brass Butterflies finished things off.  I can't tell you how HAPPY I am that these pretty little butterflies are here to stay for another year. I love them!

Sweet Citrus Thanks

    

Mother Nature is still trying to decide what season it is around here, but I think she's almost made up her mind that it really is spring!  The beautiful blue skies are making an appearance and the sun is shining...it just needs to warm up a bit more and spring will officially be here!

This weeks Global Design Project Color Challenge certainly feels like spring and when you pair it up with this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge, you end up with a springy Sweet Citrus thank you!

I am trying to used up as much as my retiring product as I possibly can and this color challenge was the perfect way to put this adorable Tahitian Tide pattern of Tea Boutique DSP to use.  What's more cheerful than polka dots and citrus fruits?!?

I added a couple Stylish Shapes die cuts to go along with the sketch. I'm so happy these dies made the cut for another year!  I dressed up the fruit with a splash of Petal Pink stamped flowers, a bit of Tahitian Tide Baker's Twine and few clear Milky Dots.  So cute!

Sweetest Day

It's Friday and the TGIF Challenges design team is kicking off the month of April with a cheerful new Color Challenge.

Is anyone else sad to say goodbye to Bermuda Bay at the end of the month?  This is a color I will miss for sure!  It was fun to pair up with some yummy yellow cherries for this challenge. Take a peek!

I inked up the cherries in Daffodil Delight then sponged a little Real Red around the edges to create the perfect Rainier Cherry, then topped them with a Pear Pizzazz stem and leaves.

I used the background stamp to add a little Bermuda Bay fun to a Stylish Shapes Circle, along with a Rays of Sunlight strip of Daffodil Delight for a burst of sunshine.  

This card has me dreaming of warm summer days and snacking on sweet cherries, especially as spring break is coming to an end...just a few more months and that dream will come true!

Rainy Days ~ #HSSIC411

Happy Spring...or should I say winter?!?  We woke up to several inches of snow yesterday...on the first day of spring break!  April showers, not snow storms, bring May flowers!

Thank goodness for some springtime inspiration with this weeks Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge. I'm definitely dreaming of those April showers to bring some May flowers!

Since I have a huge spring break to-do list, today's card was pretty simple and sweet.  I colored the cheerful Playing in the Rain bunny and fussy cut the umbrella from the Rain or Shine DSP.

The raindrop pattern of DSP was perfect for this puddle stomping bunny! I snuck in a few retired Silver & Clear Epoxy raindrops for just the right amount of sparkle.

I love this sweet sentiment!  Yesterday may have been a snowy day, rather than a rainy day, but having all of my boys home for an unexpected day off certainly made the day better!
