Oh So Succulent Birthday

Happy Tuesday stamping friends!

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas!  We had a weekend full of Chritmas celebrations with family and friends...it was the BEST!  But I was exhausted yesterday and was so grateful for an extra day off.  After de-Christmas-ing my house, I spent most of the afternoon in my craft room creating away.  Just what I needed after a full weekend and a busy work week ahead!

It's time for a new sketch challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I have some birthday's coming up, so I thought I'd get a head start on some of the cards that I'll be sending out soon.  The Oh So Succulent bundle is a great set and so versatile.  I made for a beautiful birthday card.

I love the colors in the Succulent Garden DSP.  The are so soft and sweet!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron, Whisper White

I kept this card really simple, which is often hard for me to do!  I love the panel of DSP...it gives just the right splash of color!

Urban Ungerground Birthday

Happy Monday Stampers!

And Happy 11th Birthday to my twins, Aidan and Hunter!

I will be honest...I really struggled with their birthday cards this year.  They have officially entered the tween stage, which well all know what that means...everything has to be cool, which means no more cute little boy cards.  But, never fear!  Urban Underground DSP came to my rescue and helped me in creating a couple of cards that they will {hopefully} like.

Aidan has been on a kick lately where he loves to work on his bike and wants to be a mechanic. Everything in the Urban Underground Suite in the upcoming Occasions Catalog was perfect for his card!

And being that they are twins, I always try to make them cards that are different, but also alike in some ways.  Hunter is all about hunting and can not wait to take hunters safety this spring.  The fun antlers from the new Bookcase Builder stamp set was perfect for his card!

  Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Delightful Dijon, Very Vanilla, Urban Underground DSP, Vellum
Ink ~ Basic Black, Basic Gray, StazOn
Stamp Sets ~ Urban District, Balloon Adventures, Bookcase Builder, Guy Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Hexagon Punch*, Urban Underground Embellishments, Silver Metallic Thread, Large Number Framelits, Stitched Framelits, Best Badge Punch
*retired

Celebrating my kids birthdays is always bitter sweet...time goes by so fast and the grow up way too fast.  I love every single moment...even the crazy ones!

Happy Stamping!

Balloon Adventures Birthday

 Happy Tuesday stamping friends!

We had a snow day yesterday and it's looking like we will have at least a delay today...it's been snowing so much!  I'm not a fan of the cold weather, but I do like to look out my window and see everything covered in snow.

I was trying to come up with a fun wintery card with the colors from the latest Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge, but some of my new stamp sets were begging to be inked up!

Since I'm about done with my Christmas crafting, I'm working on building my birthday card supply back up!  The soon-to-be-available Balloon Adventure set is so much fun and worked great with this color challenge!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White
Ink ~ Elegant Eggplant, Bermuda Bay, Pear Pizzazz
Stamp Set ~ Balloon Adventures
Other Supplies ~ Balloon Bouquet Punch, Subtles Enamel Shapes

Simple, but fun card!  I can't wait to send this out to a friend soon for their birthday!

Freshly Fallen Snow

Happy Friday Stampers!

Our cold weather has finally arrived in my part of the world.  We haven't seen any snow in town, but the snow in the foothills keeps getting lower and lower.  I'm willing to bet we will see some snow outside our windows very soon!

The cold weather, the latest Paper Pumpkin and this weeks Freshly Made Sketches were the inspiration behind my card today.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Dapper Denim, Whisper White, Pool Party
Ink ~ Dapper Denim, Old Olive
Stamp Set ~ Wonderful Winterland
Other Supplies ~ November 2016 Paper Pumpkin, Layering Circle Framelits, Softly Falling Embossing Folder, Basic Rhinestone Jewels

I am hoping with the colder weather finally getting here that I will be a little bit more motivated for Christmas.  I've got to get the rest of my Christmas shopping done and finish planning my twins birthday party.  Wish me luck!

Have a fantastic Friday and Happy Stamping!
