Happy New Years Eve stampers!

Thanks So Much Deer

Hello stampers!

I'm back today with another deer thank you card...guess that's my thing this year!  It's another Anything Goes day over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, so I'm linking this fun guy up over there!

This super simple card has a lot of different stamp sets rolled in to it...some old, some {brand} new and some that we'll soon be saying good-bye to.
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Watercolor Paper
Ink ~ Smoky Slate, Soft Sky, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Basic Black
Stamp Sets ~ Dotty Angles, Jolly Christmas, Perfect Pairings*
Other Supplies ~ Silver Metallic Thread, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Greetings Thinlits
*2016 Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set

After cutting out the "Thanks", I used my Aqua Painter and created an ombre effect...this was a fun way to add just a splash of color to the card.

Thanks Deer

Good morning stampers!

Christmas is all put away at my house...except in my craft room!  I'm still playing with a few Christmas stamps and DSP's as I make some thank you cards.

Today's inspiration challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments immediately made me think of the adorable deer in the Home for Christmas DSP.

And of course the trees inspired me to the Woodland Textured Embossing folder, which, in case you haven't heard, will be returning in the Annual Catalog this summer!  Hooray!!!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler
Ink ~ White Craft
Other Supplies ~ Woodland Textured Embossing Folder, Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim, Venetian Crochet Trim, Very Vanilla Bakers Twine, Snowflake Elements, Home & Hearth Thinlits

I can't remember where the little bird die came from...it's been sitting on my craft desk for well over a year now and still has not found it's home!  I know it isn't from SU...shhhhh!  It was just too cute not to use!

Be sure to head on over and see what the rest of our design team has been inspired to create today and don't forget to play along!

Happy Stamping!

Balloon Celebration ~ Monday Montage

Welcome back to Monday Montage!!!  We are back with another fabulous hop!  Make sure you click on the links below so you don't miss any of the creations...you are sure to love them all!

I hope you all had a wonder Christmas and were able to spend some time with those you love most over the holiday weekend!  We had celebrations at our house on Christmas Eve and Christmas day, so it was a bit busy, but still so much fun.  My youngest has been pretty sick since the middle of last week, so we were happy to be home and have everyone come to us.  He is still feeling pretty crummy and wants lots of snuggle time with momma, so my stamping time has been a bit limited, but I did manage to get a quick and easy card put together while he slept for a bit.

I love the new Balloon Celebration stamp set and coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch...so much fun to be had with this bundle!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White
Ink ~ Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Mint Macaron, Basic Black, Smoky Slate
Stamp Sets ~ Balloon Celebration
Other Supplies ~ It's My Party Washi Tape and Enamel Dots

The colors in the It's My Party suite are the BEST!  I love how fun and cheerful they are!

It has been so much fun hopping with all of these ladies this year and I look forward to another year of it!

Happy New Year and Happy Stamping!

Next stop on the hop is Cathy...I can't wait to see what she has for us this week! Or if you want to hop backwards, you can hop on back to the amazing Amy...I just love her style!

Thanks for hopping along with us today!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

As I sit here this morning, listening to my twins talk up in their bedroom, while my youngest and hubby still sleep, I am reminded just how blessed I am!  It may have been a crazy year full of changes for ALL of us, it really has been a pretty awesome year!

Looking back on my stamping year, I have so many fun memories that were made with all of my stamping friends, near and far.  I love what Stampin' Up! has brought in to my life and continues to do so with each passing year.

So as you celebrate today, know that I love all of you and am so very grateful to have you in my life!

Merry Christmas and Happy Stamping!

Fire Family Christmas

Hello stampers and Merry Christmas Eve!

It seems so crazy that Christmas is already upon us...time really needs to slow down!

It has been a whirlwind, crazy year for my family...so crazy that we didn't even have time to get a family picture for our Christmas cards this year :-(

As I look back at all that we did this year, many of our fun times and memories made were with our Fire Family.   Trips to the lake, crabbing at the beach, Christmas tree hunting and so many other fun times were had with all of these amazing people.  You never truly understand the bond of a fire department until you become part of that family and my family is beyond blessed to be a part of it!

While I may not have a picture of our own little family, I am happy to share a picture of our Fire Family with you today.  A few weeks ago we all headed up the mountain to cut down Christmas trees and had some fun in the snow.  I love each and everyone of these people and love to see all of our kids together...the brotherhood and sisterhood is not only shared between our guys...it's shared between the kids and wives too.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

May your day be filled with love, happiness and lasting memories!

Happy Stamping!

Not-so-traditional Christmas Colors

Good morning happy stampers!  Are you all ready for Christmas or are you scrambling around like I am finishing up those few last minute details?  With as fast as time goes by, I need to start my prep for next years Christmas on New Years day!
One of my favorite parts of Christmas are all of our family traditions...decorating the tree, our beloved Monty the Elf, Christmas movies and so much more!  But sometimes it's fun to break tradition and do something different....gasp!  Okay, not too different, but how about some different colors for a Christmas card?  Don't worry, they aren't too wild and crazy...I'm only changing up the traditional red for some Watermelon Wonder and throwing in a little Pool Party :-)
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Pool Party
Ink ~ VersaMark, Watermelon Wonder
Stamp Sets ~ Celebrate Today, Holly Jolly Greetings
Other Supplies ~ Clear Embossing Powder, Christmas Greetings Thinlits, Balloon Framelits, Silver Cording Trim, Metallic Sequins

I had so much fun with this card that I decided to flip things over, change a few elements and turn it into a birthday card!  I love it when this happens!

Here's to a very merry week for all of you and best of luck to everyone wrapping up those last minute details!

Happy stamping!

Celebrate 2016

Happy, Happy Friday stampers!!!  This has been one long week for me and I am STOKED that the weekend is finally here!  We have a busy weekend ahead of us, but it will be a FUN one!
We are getting a head start on our New Years celebrating over at The Friday Mashup today.  I am the host this week with a festive New Years Theme with a mashup using Black, Silver and Gold colors.

You might be wondering where these fabulous numbers are coming from, right?!?!?  You will be able to get your hands on the VERY soon as they are in the upcoming Occasions Catalog.  The Number of Years stamp set and coordinating Framelits are awesome and were perfect for today's card!
With the help of the Magnetic Platform, I was able to line my numbers up just how I wanted them.  I used the negative images and popped them up on some Silver Glimmer paper...love it!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Whisper White, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer, Gold Glimmer
Ink ~ VersaMark
Stamp Set ~ Celebrate Today
Other Supplies ~ Large Number Framelits, Medium Star Punch, Itty Bitty Punch Pack (Star), Metallic Sequins, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

So...a sad story about the Celebrate sentiment...I had to walk away from my craft table while I was working on this card and in the time that I was away, my pesky cat got into things and carted the Celebrate stamp off, which my puppy ended up finding later and chewed one end off :(  I'm so bummed!!!  Guess that teaches me a lesson to clean up as I go and not leave anything out...or beg my hubby to put a door on my office!

That's all for now!  Hope to be back later this weekend with a few more new things to share.  Until then...

Happy Stamping!

Merry Monday stampers!!!  We are getting closer and closer to Christmas...are you counting down the days?  For the first time in many years, I am feeling like I am ahead of the game and I'm hoping it stays that way!
In addition to being ahead of things in the Christmas department, I'm finally getting ahead on my stamping again too...HOORAY!!!!

Cookies for Santa

'Tis the season to bake cookies...and lots of them for Santa!
The Friday Mashup team is getting inspired by all the Christmas baking we are all doing (or getting ready to do) and we are mashing things up by using our dies!

My boys came across some super cute Mickey and Minnie Christmas cookies a few weeks ago and have been begging to make some!  I finally got some Mickey cookie cutters ordered so we can make some extra special cookies for Santa.
While we wait for those cookie cutters to get here, we have Santa's card all ready to leave on Christmas Eve with his cookies!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Basic Black, Silver Foil, Silver Glimmer, Merry Moments DSP
Stamps ~ Project Life Seasonal Snapshot 2015
Ink ~ Smoky Slate
Other Supplies ~ Circle Framelits, Home for Christmas Enamel Dots, Itty Bitty Punch Pack (Heart), 1/8" Striped Real Red Ribbon, 1/8" Silver Ribbon

These cute little Mickey and Minnie ears certainly make me want to get in the kitchen and start baking!   Will you be doing any holiday baking this weekend?

Have a great weekend!

It's not Christmas yet, but with every passing day it gets closer and closer!  We had a pretty big snowfall yesterday which really put me in the Christmas {craft}spirit!
Inspired by the snowfall and this weeks Freshly Made Sketches sketch by Jen M, I had some fun with one of my favorite Christmas-y stamp sets!

Besides the awesome font, I also love the funky snowflakes and hand drawn Christmas tree!

While I am NOT a fan of the freezing cold weather, I do love the pretty snow and hope it sticks around for a little bit.  I know my boys do too as they are itching to break their sleds out!

Winter Wonderland

It is certainly feeling like a Winter Wonderland in my neck of the woods!  We got a little snow last week which has stuck around due to below freezing temps. I'm not a fan of the cold, but the snow sure is pretty and it puts me in a festive mood for the holiday!
It our family tradition to put up our Christmas decorations the weekend after Thanksgiving.  It's so much fun to see my boys decorate our tree and share their memories of each ornament they hang.  While they decorate the tree, I decorate our fire place mantle and this year I was inspired by our latest Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.

These colors are absolutely stunning together and Stampin' Up! was on trend with the Winter Wonderland suite this year!  The DPS was perfect for making a  festive banner to finish up my mantle this year!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP, Gold Foil, Black Glimmer, Whisper White
Ink ~ Basic Black, Gold
Stamp Set ~ Wonderland
Other Supplies ~ Snowflake Elements, Banner Punch, Gold Glitter Ribbon, Gold Cording Trim, Circle Framelits, Linen Thread, Party Pennants Bigz Die (retired)

Here is a little picture of my complete mantle...my apologies for the poor lighting!  We have an old house that has no lights in the ceiling, which makes for a dimly lit house on a cold winter day!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Be sure to play along with us over at HSS...we love to see what you create!

Happy Stamping!
