HO HO HO{LE} In One Holiday

Hello and Happy Wednesday!  Are you all ready for Turkey Day tomorrow? I'll be cleaning house and making pies tonight...then tomorrow morning I'll be getting up with the family and running the 5th annual Red Cross Turkey Trot!  My hubby and I have run it every year, but this year our boys will join us :-)  I don't know who is more excited...them or me!
I finally found some time to stamp yesterday and worked on a special request card for a friend.  She asked for a golfing Christmas card and this is what I came up with for her...

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Real Red, Whisper White, Gumball Green, Soft Sky
Ink ~ Real Red, Soft Sky
Stamp Set ~ Embellished Events, Snow Day
Other Supplies ~ 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder

Whacha think?!?!?  Ok for an avid golfer?  I thought it was kinda cute ;-)

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and are surrounded by loved ones, yummy food, good times and maybe even a nap!

Happy Stamping!

A JOYful weekend of wreaths

Happy Monday friends!!!  Hope you all had a great weekend and did something crafty :-) I know I did!
Saturday night my house was filled with 19 awesome and oh-so-crafty friends who gathered to create their very own curly paper wreath.  Inspired by the amazing talented Alanna of Sleepless Stamper, my friends and I spent the evening curling paper, pinning paper, making banners and just havin' FUN!  We even Skyped with my amazingly awesome friend Wendy of Wickedly Wonderful Creations who also had a group of her friends over makin' wreaths too! Skype stamping is the BESTEST!!!
I know I have already posted my wreath once before, but I wanted to share it again after our fun night together on Saturday.
I'm so super sad that I forgot to take pictures while everyone was here :-(  But a couple girls posted their wreaths after they got home, so I can at least share those!
Kendra made the Cherry Cobbler wreath and added her bow in along the bottom left side...LOVE it!  Jordan's wreath was all full of bright, colorful awesomeness!!!  She brought a few other strips of paper to match her Christmas décor (Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Raspberry Ripple) and added them in with the Winter Frost DSP.  This picture doesn't do her wreath any justice...it was beautiful!!!

Having all of these wonderful ladies in my house and Skyping with another group of amazing crafty ladies reminded me why I love my hobby job so much! Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces and hearing the kind words of thanks from everyone warms my heart!  I am beyond blessed and grateful that Stampin' Up! has brought so many great people into my life!

Happy Stamping friend!

A Krafty Little Snowman

Happy Thursday friends!  Today I have my individual post for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  I LOVE the Kraft Gift Boxes and was so happy when two new ones showed up in the Holiday Catalog.  If you remember, one of my
Artisan Finalist entries was a Kraft box that I turned into a cute little cupcake holder.  Using that same idea, I turned some more Kraft Gift Boxes into this fun little snowman!
Isn't he fun?!?!  The middle box is the Decorative Window Gift Box, which I have used for so many different things.  I wanted a window to match in the other two boxes, so I tore them apart, ran them through my Big Shot with the Circle Framelits, glued them back together and slid in a piece of Window Sheet...voila!  A cute little stackable snowman gift box!
I tore up some Whisper White cardstock to fill the inside of each box, but I plan on filling them with some special Christmas treats for a very special friend who loves snowmen!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Window Sheet, Red Glimmer Paper
Other Supplies ~ Kraft, Decorative Window and Extra-Large Kraft Boxes, Pretty Presents Designer Bows, Neutrals Buttons, Circle Framelits, Basic Black/Basic Gray Satin Ribbon (leftover from the Halloween Banner accessory kit), Circle Punches, MDS (Holly)

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope I have INKspired you to create something fun today!

Happy Stamping!

Pop & Place Hexagons ~ HSSSC173

It's Tuesday and time for another Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge.  This time around we have a sketch for you to play with.

I was getting a head start on my gift wrapping this past weekend and was using the new Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags.  Since they were still out on my desk, I decided some of the tags would be perfect for this weeks sketch!
Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Season of Style DSP
Ink ~ Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive
Stamp Sets ~ Christmas Tagables Photopolymer, Endless Wishes Photopolymer
Other Supplies ~ Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags, Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler Chevron Ribbon, Hardware Essentials Clips

This card went together in under 10 minutes thanks to the Pop & Place Tags...I didn't have to pull out the Big Shot or dies to cut anything out.  Love it when you can create something so cute in such a short amount of time, especially this time of year when you always seem to be short on time!

Be sure to check out the rest of the amazing design team and don't forget to play along!

Love Our Crazy Family ~ Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Scrapbook Sketch

Happy Monday and welcome to November's Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Scrapbook Sketch Challenge!  Be sure to check out the rest of the design team samples and don't forget to play along with us!
I have another MDS page for you today!  I love that I can put a page together in 15 minutes or less with MDS.  While I enjoy traditional scrapbooking, my crazy busy life does not allow much time for it.  MDS has helped me get all of my family photos digitally scrapped rather than left sitting in a box...YES!

Last week I downloaded one of the new Digital Classes and the Love This Kit.  If you are new to MDS or still learning your way around the program like I am , the online classes are an awesome help!

These were some of the outtakes from our family pictures at the end of the summer, but I love them and had to add them to our Family Yearbook...this is our real family...CRAZY and FUN!

Hope this has INKspired you to create and you join us this month for our Scrapbook Challenge!

Happy Scrapping!

The Golden Package ~ Monday Montage

We are back with another Monday Montage for you!  Thanks for hopping along with us each and every time...we love sharing our paper crafting passion with all of you!

Our mountains are covered in snow, the temperatures have dropped...winter is here!  And with the wintery weather, I am in the Christmas spirit and ready to wrap some gifts and put them under the tree.  But...the hubby said I have to wait until after Thanksgiving to put our tree up.  *SIGH*  That doesn't mean I can't get started wrapping some gifts so they are all ready once the tree does go up!
I used the Envelope Punch Board to create this little box then added some shimmery gold polka dots with my daubers.

Then I decided the cotton ribbon needed a little something too, so I stamped it with Merry Christmas and the little snowflake from the Endless Wishes Photoploymer Stamp Set

I finished off the gift box with a quick and easy double layer gift tag.  I love how the bottom layer gives just a little POP of color to the package!  And the little evergreen branch and pine cone were some of the treasures collected this morning on our walk, so I stuck them on for fun too!

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Modern Medley DSP
Ink ~ Metalic Gold, Jet Black StazOn
Stamp Sets ~ Endless Wishes Photopolymer Stamp Set
Other Supplies ~ Envelop Punch Board, Cotton Ribbon, Crochet Trim, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Circle Framelits

Thanks for hopping along with all of us again!

Now  either skip on back to Amy's page or hop ahead to Cathy's page....just be sure to make the full loop so you don't miss out on any of the amazing creations this time around!

5 Minute Template ~ MDS

Happy Wednesday friends!  Life has been crazy busy and my stamp time has been put on hold and my poor stamps are being neglected :-(  I'm hoping to rectify that problem this weekend though!  But, my creativity hasn't been totally been put on hold.  Kimberly and Heather over at the Simply My Digital Studio Challenge on Facebook challenged us to create a page in 5 minutes or less using a template that is pre-loaded in MDS.
I'll admit, I rarely use these and have no idea why after creating my page!  Talk about a super quick and easy way to create a fabulous page!
We lost our sweet Bailey boy back in May and I wanted to add some pictures of him to our family yearbook so we will always have pictures to remember him by.  The Love Letter template was perfect for this picture and I had it done in less than 5 minutes!  How awesome is that?!??!  After creating this page, I am certain I will use the templates more often.

Looking for some fun MDS templates to add to your collection?  Be sure to check out the great selection of downloads HERE and get started on your own Family Yearbook!

Happy Stamping and Happy Clicking!

Aaarrrggghhh {our} Rock n' Roll Halloween

Uh-oh...guess what day it is???  Anybody??  That's right, it's Wednesday! :-)  Digital Scrapbooking Days is in full swing and I have a fun page to share with you!  Another page to add to our 2013 Family Yearbook...Halloween 2013!
This picture of my boys CRACKS me up!  They were so mad at me for making them have their picture taken right before they headed out the door to start their trick or treating...which boils down to NO SMILES!  My twins dressed up as Rock Stars (they came up with their costumes all on their own and were so proud!) and my youngest was a pirate.
The Simply MDS challenge this week was to create a page using shadows, which is perfect for a Halloween page!  I used the Drop Shadow effect around the photo, the words and the skull and cross bone...LOVE how it turned out!  I used downloads from the Halloween Banner Kit, the Ahoy, Matey kit and the Simply Teen Kit...perfect for Aaarrrggghhh (Our) Rock n' Roll Halloween!

Don't forget, you can try MDS FREE for 30 days!  And when you decide to purchase MDS (you won't be able to say no) it's only $19.95!  Talk about a great deal!  There are hundreds of awesome downloads, with new ones added each and every Tuesday.  What are you waiting for?!?!?  Get yours today and have fun creating!

Happy Stamping!

I know Halloween has just ended and Thanksgiving is coming up, but I am itching to decorate for Christmas!  Do any of you decorate for Christmas BEFORE Thanksgiving?  If I had my way, I would...but with a toddler tornado and my rambunctious Roxy, Christmas decorating may be a challenge this year!
But this is a decoration that I can hang up with where tiny little hands or puppy teeth can reach :-)

Paper ~ Season of Style DSP
Other Supplies ~ 1" & 1-1/4" Circle Punches, Fancy Flower Punch, Delicate Details Lace Tape, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Chevron Ribbon

I can't take credit for this idea...I owe it all to Pinterest!  I love searching the interwebz for ideas and bringing them to life with my own twist!  I plan on making a second set of these to hang on either side of my mantle this Christmas.  Quick and easily decoration for sure!

Thanks for hopping along with all of us again!

The Leaves are a Fallin'

Happy {windy} Saturday!  I had high hopes of getting outside and raking the mass amount of leaves that we have in our back yard, but Mother Nature had a different idea.  It poured rain all morning and now the wind is blowing like crazy. Pointless to rake in the wind, right?  Oh well...stamping it is :-)  No complaints here!  All of the falling leaves have inspired me though...

Ink ~ Early Espresso, Summer Starfruit, Cajun Craze, Gold Metallic Encore

I love this sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday!  It will be one I use again for sure!

Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
